I don't know if I want to even open this box, but how was Skye no longer a Chandler?? I vaguely remember Rae Cummings (blah) and she was revealed to be her mother, but I can't remember the Adam Chandler side of this story. Did they just change that history, say he wasn't her father, and Alan was?

Meh. Skye was a grown ass woman when she was adopted by Alan after Rae still couldn't figure out who her father was. I don't think we even know now. It was more of an ABC/JFP experiment than a true Q tie and it was retconned shortly after.

Emily was a child who lost her single mom to cancer and both Monica and Alan adopted her as a young girl, willingly.

They are two very different scenarios.

Skye couldn't have cared less about Monica but would be quoted as saying things like, "lol, we know how Grandfather is and so on..." Do you Skye, really?

Everyone to this day considers Emily a Q while no one ever even mentions Skye. Hoping she found out Adam was her real dad off screen or something.

I think the most concise explanation, and believe me it's not a concise story, is that Edward paid someone off to make baby Skye disappear, Alan and Rae thought the baby was dead and Adam and his first wife (don't recall her name) adopted Skye illegally. Eventually it was revealed Skye was Rae's daughter but Rae didn't know who the father was....and that's where it was left. I don't believe Adam could even be in the race to be Skye's bio dad, but not positive.

This always drove me insane. It happened almost instantly too lol. Like, bitch you just got here!

I had no problem with Skye on AMC, and I think having Skye as a schemer come back from time to time to make trouble on GH wouldn't be the worst thing today. But when she was just hanging around, acting like she had a place in the family and had known them for decades it drove me nuts. I do like to think she's really Adam's kid too.

Yes, the familiarity of it all was so obnoxious. There was never an adjustment period, which even characters like Emily and Drew had. She just sidled up to the living room acting like she knew the whole family her entire life and deserved a place at the top of ELQ.

I don't even think Skye is an awful character. I hated her being forced down my throat.

Skye at her big age with her insane personal history acting like an adolescent girl who just found her parents for the first time was grating. Girl, you are 40. What is going on?

I never thought a short stint by Erika Slezak would so turn me off the show but I've barely watched since Tracy's entire family turned their back on her for this stranger. This stranger who agreed to steal their family home because Tracy wasn't nice to her one time.

Tracy will forgive them or rather they will "forgive" Tracy (for being right) but I'm disillusioned, it's all left such a bad taste in my mouth.
