I really loved that. Tracy’s relationships with Cody and Stella are some of my favorites but they rarely get played these days.

Not if Josh Kelly can help it, lol. Dude has been going almost as hard as me for Cody/Tracy at every press availability he gets in the last year.

And he was right. Mulcahey was laying it down very delicately in the scripts that clearly had his hands all over editing them. Well as delicately as soaps can muster nowadays.

I sat down to watch Wednesday’s ep, and even reading about it here did not prepare me for Carly in that wig. Jesus Christ this is just comically bad.

I seriously fear Frank will go all in and try to make Valentin and Carly happen next. Anything to keep JPS on the show. As I've said elsewhere, there aren't enough strap-ons in Port Charles to cover the overhead.

They'd end up alienating many of the Valentin fans as many seem to just want him with Anna but I guess if they realize this is his last gasp. And Carly clearly has nothing else going on.

If McKenna isn't written out maybe they will pair him with Anna.

Watching today's episode... Jesus, the Chase and Michael scenes, lord have mercy.

They had more sexual chemistry than many of the couples on the show.

God knows I am so happy to see Erika Slezak back on daytime, but her storyline is just so pointless.  Even if Ronnie were Monica's long-lost sibling, what's the point of introducing her now, when it would've been so much better to do it when LC was still alive and able to work?  Frankly, I would've much rather seen her come on as Laura's adoptive mother, Barbara Vining.

That would've been wild.

At least Genie's still there (to play Laura's discovery that Barbara has fallen on hard times financially and is now homeless)!

I believe both Barbara and Jason Vining died in a car accident in 1979 and that's when they cast Shell Kepler as Amy Vining, who then lived with Rick, Lesley and Laura.

Yeah, but you know how soaps work, right, lol?  You could always explain that away.

That never really matters on a soap.

That would be a great idea, if Frank could get past the idea of Laura having a story.

(couldn't be worse than her insta-brothers)

The synopses at the time only mentions Jason's death:

Alan found Amy admiring his house, then consoled her after learning her father had died

Luke comforted Laura about her stepfather's death.

Amy arrived right when Marland departed and Pat Falken Smith took over. I'm guessing Marland planned her arrival but PFS may have changed the story for the character.

It really doesn't matter. This show has brought back far more dead people.

THIS.

I understand GF's vaca, but that hasn't stopped Frank from not not giving her story.
