While Tomas is a dog, both Eva and Kat are also to blame for their current situations.. .but we can't ever have women take ownership over their mistakes unless it's to blame a man LOL

Eva knew Tomas was with her sister and she still hit on him and made out with him.. then cries because he lied about being with said sister.. and Kat knew in her heart that Tomas/Eva were being more then just platonic and instead of listening to her instincts.. she chooses to jump into bed with him to one up her sister.

These are adult women and the lack of holding both accountable for their parts in this situation is typical in this day and age.

the thing is no one is saying they feel sorry for Kat or Eva. Kat is paying bc she will forever regret giving up her virginity to someone who wasnt worthy of her. Eva is out here in tears feeling yet again rejected and inferior. Both made decision is that ld them to where they are but no one is excusing them.

I feel sorry for Eva because she really became attached to Tomas and he has played with her emotions. As far as Kat goes she made a poor decision that she wasn't pressured into (Tomas did pull back the first time) except by herself so I don't think feeling sorry for her fits her situation. But Tomas has played the both of them to different extents.

-- I think the show wants us to feel sorry for Eva. I don't. I want to shake her for thinking Tomas is in any way a prize.

-- Alex Alegria is so terrible as Tomas that he takes the heat off anyone else's acting.

-- The Andre/Ashley scenes were cringe, mostly because of Ashley acting like a 16 year old. This isn't The Summer I Turned Pretty.

-- Ashley's talking about her dreams and future. Didn't she just recently become a nurse? Is her dream a red balloon in Paris?

-- Why wouldn't Ashley even kiss Andre? Sorry, I don't find that normal. I just don't.

-- And Ashley can stop worrying about Derek, period. It just makes her look more immature and pathetic.

-- I feel as if the June story is being written the same way the Martin story was written. We're getting information in dribs and drabs instead of realistically. The actress playing Regina is good, but I still don't care about who those kids are or about June's future.

-- Why did Eva give her mother the entire check? Why not give her part of the money and not all of it? Let her get her bills paid, get her life on track, etc. We know she blew $50k in a couple months and she'll do the same with this check.

-- I hope there's a plan for Leslie, because what we're getting is repetition.

-- Joey and his backroom casino continue to be skeevy. Sorry, I can't stand the character. All he does is make Vanessa look like an even dumber slut. I have no idea why she finds his persona attractive.

Based on some of the comments here, sounds like more people have felt like Kat than maybe we'd think, which is very interesting. Makes the story maybe more relatable, viable and needed!

I never believed that fan theory, and I am glad that it seems like it is not true. I mean, when Hayley approached June and Naomi, neither seemed to know each other.

I hate the whole 'man creates romantic fantasy for woman' trope so Andre/Ashley left me cold-even more so b/c I'm not buying for a minute that Andre would be attracted to a wet blanket like Ashley.

I still feel like another shoe is going to drop. So that would fit. It could be nothing or it could be one Friday, Hayley and Regina run into each other and we find out they are related.

I love her, but I'm starting to feel the same way. She seems too crafty to already have blown through her money. 

 

And I started thinking before now that the writing is leading to a Dupree vs Joey stand-off, but with Doug's little scene today I'm starting to think moreso. The last person who wanted to run their mouth about anything that led to Martin's Secret turned up dead so...Hmmm. It would be interesting if Doug going to Jacob is the very thing that causes the schism among the conspiracists.

The first time I had sex I remember thinking this really isn’t all that great and making out and fooling around was much more enjoyable.
