Per today's episode...I do think it was a case of ex-wife getting in her insecure head as the reasoning for this. It could have been built up a little bit better, but it has been established that almost every time Hayley starts with Dani, Dani be finishing her with the quickness. And usually Bill LETS her. 

I thought it was just me so THANK YOU.  And yes, I rewinded at that one camera turn.  

Well tbf, I thought it was telling in the Andre/Nicole scenes today that Nicole made a point to say he was a playboy BEFORE he got back to town to stay. And he's already acknowledged that (outside of Ashley to the viewing audience) no girl has ever held his interest enough to want to be in a relationship with them long-term. Dani, it seems, would be the first. And since he's never been in one, this is new territory which is why he's not against coming out in the opening. Because as you and I know...you never forget that first time and he's clearly caught them feelings.  

Please do not jinx this show with Ridge/Brooke comparisons. I would actually like to enjoy this show 😂

Given the Ashley/Dani tension... I would be open to a Ashley/Dani/Andre triangle down the road since the Bill/Hayley/Dani triangle seems kind of played out (and we've only seen them for 81 episodes... not a good sign).

I agree with everyone that Hayley hasn't been given a POV whatsoever.  Most of her actions and interactions have been in regards to proving herself to Bill (i.e. trying to get the female employees to drop the lawsuit, going off on Ted for using Bill as his clean up man, etc) with little to no focus on what she really is thinking and feeling.   Other then the 1 on 1 scene with Caroline in week 1, we've not gotten to hear her POV nor what she's truly feeling... and that will make the audience either confused over what they're supposed to think of the character.. or they don't care.

When Ashley and Derek (token white couple) have gotten more of a POV and decent 1:1's with other characters... that is a problem.

Maybe early Ridge/Brooke circa 1987 to 1989/1990 should be what writers should model a relationship after.

Which is why I rolled my eyes from the first promo that showed Dani at the hospital during Bill's issues.  Given how much play Bill/Hayley/Dani got in the first month...it just feels too soon to have them in story together. Interacting or cross paths while their separated storylines are going on...OF COURSE! Keep it alive since it's clear there will be a circling back to them down the road. But not tooooo directly in story. Moreso when you factor in the fact that Hayley still does not have a POV as of yet. 

 

It saddens me because a lot of the storylines going on right now are storylines that have been given the time (for the most part) of letting the audience in on characters' POV...something I felt Month 2 did beautifully so that now those storylines can have more attachment/investment because we as an audience have some idea of what makes the characters tick. It's also why I don't mind the June plot just being a C plot for now because that needs time and doesn't take away from what's going on. So when it finally heads wherever it is heading, I feel we have some idea of what June is like and feel if we should care or not. 

 

Meanwhile...Hayley in her own story...is just THERE. 

 

As for Ashley/Dani/Andre...I don't want it...but at least there's enough POV going on there to see mileage. Not to mention I like how Dani/Andre were slowly developed and how Bill and Ashley have been slowly wormed into Dani/Andre's internal drama. Even this new wrinkle with Hayley could help push that idea forward if the writers want to go there. 

So, no follow-up to the big meeting at Bill's office? Talk about a let down and awful writing. MVJ plotting/pacing of this story is awful.

The Nicole scenes with Andre and Ted were good.

The cliffhanger was good too but I doubt MJV will do what @BetterForgotten suggested. The show is lacking in real drama.

Eva not being her daughter, and her character switched babies. She said MVJ hasn't written it so far. Eva is her daughter, not Nicole's.

Ted finally had a backbone today. As much as I love Nicole, I'm glad Ted stood his ground with her. And to be fair, Ted tried to tell Nicole about Martin, and she jumped to conclusions and shifted the conversation to Dani & Andre.

Hayley is such a loser, IMO. I can't wait for whatever she thinks she's doing blows up in her face.

Tomas probably feels concerned about Kat's welfare and doesn't want to let her down after her giving herself to him. He feels that if it doesn't work out, she will regret what she has done. He's actually a good guy. He could have slept with Eva that day she came onto him, but he didn't, and you know he has blue balls by now with Kat. Also, he didn't know Kat was there and he still refused. He really seems to care about Kat and has a heart.

Then again, his actions as Bill's spy say otherwise...however, I don't think he would intentionally hurt women on his own or without a carrot dangled in front of him (like a potential partnership). 

Or... Tomas DOES have feelings for Eva and is trying to spare Kat any extra heartache if they do not work out and he eventually ends up with her sister. 

How long after Hayley told Bill she was pregnant did they start to get busy on the couch and his stroke happened? Wasn't it quite soon after? 

I think she was tired of Bill continuously wanting to be in Dani's business and decided to get pregnant to refocus back on her. She probably thought she could get pregnant fairly quickly so it wouldn't have been a lie but then his stroke happened. Now the timeline isn't adding up and she's under pressure...

I was disappointed the group in Bill's office was skipped over too. Maybe the writers didn't want to foreshadow what will happen to "Kenny" when he shows up for the money? Hopefully it's something big and unexpected.

He WAS. Thats the point of him staying in DC as he's older and settling down. Its not something he expected or was  seeing but Dani has put him in a position to reevaluate that. It doesnt make sense to have him going around sleeping around now. He's grown up. Nicole was judging him on who he was but she's been out of the loop to where his romantic interests have been and how he's been moving. She assumed that he was sleeping around but that hasnt been the case since he came back to town. He's evolved past that

I honestly would have preferred seeing him come in as a playboy and over time settle into this new chapter. It is a little strange that everyone talks of him being this playboy, but he now wants to play house with a woman that just got out of a near 30-year marriage with several hang ups and flaws all the while being in love with the most Type A boring snoozefest of a nurse that acts like a teenage brat. For someone who is so well traveled and says he learned so much going around the world - this is what he wants to settle down with? Like it's been super quick too.

I still don't get why Andre needed this relationship with Dani to be out in the open so badly. 1) It's still early. 2) Dani is in a vulnerable place and not completely done with her marriage emotionally. 3) He just told Nicole they aren't in love but working towards that. 4) He clearly feels something for Ashley. 

So why the urgency? 

I don't care about all the dramatic exhales and scrunched up faces Andre makes...I ain't buying it.
