I had so much going on today, so I couldn't reach much of La Lucci, but I did sit and admire the glossy, color pictures included inside. There are ~100 pictures she included and they are all beautiful. Of course there are many of her, her late husband Helmut, some family/friends and some AMC stars.
Being a soap opera fan, of course I'm a bit nosy and really wish I knew what happened with Susan and her daughter Liza. Of the ~100 pictures she included, I think it's still clear they aren't speaking which pains me. She includes just one picture of her, Helmnut, Liza as a baby and Andreas as a boy. She also includes a picture of a lighted sign that says JOY that she says her daughter (not named) gave her that she still cherishes to this day. She also includes two different pictures of her holding each grandchild, but I don't know yet if they're Andreas' or Liza's kids (nor yet do I know if Andreas has kids or not). She includes two different pictures of Andreas as an adult, but not a single photo of Liza other than the one where she's a baby. That really makes me so sad.
Anyway, I read the intro and it's so clear she not only values Agnes as a writer ("first entertain, and second INFORM"), but also really loved the hell out of Helmut, and his death really was hard on her. ❤️
