Susan Flannery retiring & Stephanie's death was handled so beautifully. It was my mother who got me started on soaps. She died in 1991 & I miss her to this day.

If it is true, yes, it is definitely the end of an era.

Uh, look at who you are talking to! He'll say anything, to anyone, at any time, just to get a rise out of someone. Think: provocateur or liar or troll or cheap trick. Pick any you like.

I am sorry, but this is way too vague and seems like you are only speculating, while wanting to seem like you know something, when you don't know anything. If you know, say it. Otherwise this is just a baseless speculation. Krista Allen has done nothing to deserve this. And it's sad that people are so quick to judge her and take Bradley who has past history of doing this...'s side.

Susan Flannery got the part of Stephanie Forrester on the new half hour soap on CBS, THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL, and in its first review she got the only good line. "What was strikingly original from the start was the performance of Susan Flannery as Stephanie Forrester - a fascinating alabaster sphinx of a woman."

I see we're back to quoting and engaging this aging troll.

The account is one of various obvious spinoff accounts who the mods have not yet intervened on despite years of the same behavior. Their only MO is to say the opposite of whatever the popular sentiment on the forum or in a thread is at any given point and latch on hoping to stir things up. They want your attention, they don't care how to get it. Block and ignore.

Huh? Not your place to say? LOL What a ridiculous statement -- when you're the one who intimated that Krista was a problem. Silence? We all know that almost no soap actors put their own jobs in peril by questioning the firing of another actor.

Have to agree with you -- it's speculation based on nothing.

Vee and I have been at odds before, but I agree with him on this.

You stand completely by your statement? You mean the one that offers nothing? Offers no specifics, no proof? And now all will come out in time? LOL You know nothing.

LOL I wanted to -- I really did -- but I thought I'd get eye-rolling and "There he goes again."

But yeah, RJ did look incredible, and someone in production clearly knows it, starting that scene with his shirt off as he was closest to the camera. Wardrobe makes sure his jersey-type shirts hug every muscle and the sleeves are beyond tight around his biceps.

So yeah, delicious.

    • A new day in Salem… and a new day for Days.  I like the way everybody found out and absorbed the news about John’s death, and how they all eventually found their way to Marlena’s to offer their condolences. I’m not particularly sure why they waited until the next day to tell everybody but I don’t really mind it.  We finally got Roman’s perspective! His scenes with Kayla were one of the best parts of today. I’m glad that Roman is thankful for everything that John did for his kids. I agree with posters who said that he should’ve had a scene like this with John, but I’m happy we got this at least.  Julie was used very well today too. She’s definitely the best person for Marlena to have scenes with at the moment. Hopefully, Julie continues to be there for her. And yes, I totally agree with Marlena and Belle sending EJ away when he came to the apartment. I’m curious to see what’s going to happen to his and Belle’s relationship in the aftermath of all this. And, while I enjoyed most of Brady and Kristen’s scenes, I still think the ship has sailed for them. Hopefully, the aftermath of John’s death causes Brady to finally end this thing with her once and for all.  And, I see a lot of people were wearing some kind of shade of purple today.

    • Wow, I love that current and former actors are participating in this. I barely recognize Staci Greason! She looks fine, just very different. But I will be happy to hear anecdotes from her. I shipped RoJohn and Isabella hard back in the day, and I sobbed buckets in my dorm room at college when Izzy B passed. Honestly, I'm interested in everyone's stories. Drake seemed like he was well loved among the cast.
    • When she first appeared, I was sure she was setting Tyrell up for a prank. She was too much of a manic pixie dream girl- I wasn't surprised Tyrell also became suspicious. Now I'm not so sure. If Jessica genuinely likes Tyrell, it seems like a missed opportunity to not have started her out as a bully, then we see her gradually catch feelings for Tyrell.  The McBrides are definitely the "C" family of BTG. They always get last priority. There have been a few times where the Doug/Vanessa/Joey characters reference off screen conversations which seem too important to not show us. Like when Doug thanked Joey for giving him extra time to pay off the loan. When did that happen? Or when we abruptly moved from Vanessa/Joey at Uptown to Vanessa/Doug in the hotel room. The McBrides don't even have their own set - even though Vanessa is a realtor. It's a shame because I am a fan of the characters and actors.

I am also adjusting to KR as Ted but I feel that AM and MJ had way more chemistry as father and daughter than AM and KR. We saw Eva dream of having a real relationship with MJ's version of Ted for months so it's a bit of a bummer not to have that payoff with the original actor except for those scenes in MJ's last episode.  Something I noticed about Eva today is how she takes genuine delight in being a schemer. As badly as she wants to be a Richardson, she still has so much of her mom in her. It was jarring seeing her earnestly promise to steer clear of Leslie in her scene with Ted, then immediately switch attitudes when her mom showed up.  I'm very surprised with how quickly the accident story has been moving along. I was sure that it would be months if not years before people figured out it was Leslie on the motorcycle, not to mention responsible for the potassium overdose. I'm looking forward to seeing how MVJ and Guza avoid writing Leslie into a corner.  Finally, I have been loving the Articulettes story. Bonita Brisker was just the right amount of OTT - remember Sharon is supposed to be even more angry than Tracy is. If Sharon didn't come in swinging, people would say she fell flat. The way Sharon and Tracy describe the breakup is so Supremes-meet-Original Recipe Destiny's Child. I get the sense that MVJ is re-writing the Return to Love Tour as a roman a clef, and I love it. I'm looking forward to finding out what the secret they share is. If Dante Green is as shady as Berry Gordy was, it's something dark. If/when they go through with the reunion, I expect Dante to show up and claim to own the Articulettes trademark in a Lou Pearlman-esque twist.
    • Other than hanging out with Liz, all of Lucky's stories have been stalled out or dropped; the relationship with his son; his wanderlust. He hasn't been involved in any of the action/adventure or con artist stuff. I don't think he's even had a scene with Sidwell since the latter came to town. He's a real after thought. I doubt he's long for the show.

    • I started a separate thread for the same tribute, but of course it can be discussed wherever. doesn't matter where. Fyi  Jason Cook, Staci Greason, and Eileen Davidson will be there as well as Reckell and some of the current cast Thread for Live tribute to Drake https://boards.soapoperanetwork.com/topic/68987-days-currentformer-actors-live-video-tribute-for-drake-hogestyn
    • Seeing Nicole and Martin together reminds me of watching Alice with Mickey Horton in the 90s and 00s. The seem more like peers than mother and son.  The younger half of the cast (35ish and below) is playing younger, and the older half (35+) is playing older.
