I like Brooke's "mummy" jacket. It's pretty cool looking. Actually, you know what? It reminds me of like when I was in elementary school and the teacher would have us make "chains" out of colored constructed paper and Elmer's Glue in art class. Other than that, it was another day of people stickin' their nose into other people's business. For a quick second, I thought they were finally in Rome, but then I realized it was the El Rodeo Drive or something.

Damn, and that shot of bourbon. Nah, that was like a pint. I did laugh when Deacon asked if Liam liked his vegan dish as he ordered it before. One nanosecond later, it went from the vegan dish to "I know Thomas is going to Rome with Hope. I'm sure you're not too thrilled about that ..."

And to any server in the restaurant business, and you want to upsale on the check to receive a bigger tip: Don't ask a customer if they would like another bourbon or another beer. Replace the word with fresh. I guarantee you it's more professional, and 6 or 7 times out of 10, your customer will order a fresh one. You're welcome.

OMG Lame SHUT UP! almost 3 months of his non stop whining, is there anyone he hasn't whined too yet? WHat next go to Stephanie's grave to whine? Sheila in prison to whine? UGH

Pretty said Finn has to teach Lame about being a good husband. I don't know why Lame was so surprised when Finn suggested he go to Rome, Hope already asked him to come

Today's show was boring. More of Liam telling everyone that he was going to Rome...yawn....the Rome scenes felt like filler reruns from previous remotes.

Agreed. Love it that Forrester and Spencer have private jets that are never available when someone needs to get somewhere. Those Liam "I need a ticket" scenes were all filler.

And forgive me for not siding with all these "Look at the GORGEOUS remotes B&B does!!! How do they afford it when no one else can???"

It looks like a National Geographic video montage to me -- taken by any decent photographer aiming his camera at a mountain or a hotel. I'm supposed to get excited about this???

And then they put a dozen characters in a scene and blocking is "Put them all in a row and give everyone one line." Jesus.

Yeah the Rome scenes are BORING AF. All the Lope and Bridge propping was nauseating and Lame taking marriage advice from Eric, who's been married like 50 times, is hilarious

Finn was the only bright spot

The remote scenes are so redundant. The second act ended with everyone clapping and excited about a fashion show they've done zillionth of times...yawn.

Brooke again saying how beautiful Rome is...yawn

Were the Rome interior scenes all done in LA? The interior scenes were obviously very familiar.

And I agree with @dragonflies they sent the most boring characters to Rome.

    • That's so funny, that's how I listen to Montecito - while walking my dog. I'll have to check out Forever & a Day.
    • I need to listen! Forever & a Day was a fun soapy podcast to have available when I walked the dog.
    • A few years ago, Devon and Nick started a charity organization together, I think it's for housing in the community.
    • I’m hoping to start getting to know Vernon better this month. He’s really only been a bunch of noble and good tropes so far. I don’t want him to be taken down the way Ted has been, but it seems he was a long-running Senator and no matter what party you are, lasting longer than twenty years means you’re looking out for you (and not who you’re supposed to be looking out for) most of all. I want to get to know both Vernon and Anita beyond their Dupree posturing. Clifton Davis can sleepwalk handling the kind of material Christopher Bernau and David Lewis handled and I’d like to see more than just a saint.
    • I thought Emily/Hal was a really interesting pairing. And I think KMH played that version of Emily very well! It might not have been what people wanted from Emily, and the writing got pretty gross at the end, but I thought she embodied that character effectively.
    • Don't know if this exactly fits here, but it is connected: Does this abandoned building look familiar? It is one of those explorer videos - and the outside may look VERY familiar if one watched GH in the '70s and '80s!

    • So, I have been in the hospital all week. I am close to being up to date on my soaps. Now I have to go to the Infusion Ctr daily to get IV antibiotics, for 6 weeks. I am frankly exhausted. A hospital is no place to be when you're sick. Hooked up to machines that go beep beep beep all day & night long. Someone wakes you up every hour on the hour for something, either to stick you with needles or to take your gosh-awful blood pressure for the umpteenth time. So, you don't get any sleep. Now I have a central line, upper right chest. After they "installed" it, I said, I am now Borg. They just stared at me. Apparently scifi is not general knowledge. What happened? I have an infection inside my big toe right foot & it burned the skin on my foot. The burned skin is already better. It was like a bad sunburn. The infection inside the toe is the issue. Oral antibiotics won't even get its attention. So, IV antibiotics plus time.

As Salem bids farewell to John Black on Monday, the "Days" family and fans say a final goodbye to Drake Hogestyn.   From his time as a young man playing baseball in the minor leagues for the New York Yankees to his almost four-decade run as John Black, Drake always did his best. And, while becoming a soap opera icon, he spent almost 40 years at "Days" telling the best stories and taking the younger cast under his wing to make sure they would do their best as well. Thank you, Drake, for the legacy you have left for everyone at "Days." The impact you made on the cast, crew and fans will never be forgotten...and that's a fact.
    • I found an interview with Joseph Breen (Will Jeffries) where he mentions that Reva was put in a coma so Zimmer could go to Hollywood to do a pilot (OMG, if ONLY it had been picked up, LOL) and that Sonni and Josh and Will became a popular with the audience while she was out of commission.  If you want to read the whole thing: https://www.authorsden.com/visit/viewarticle.asp?id=47394 Breen was known for being very candid in interviews, I wish I could find more of them. I seem to recall he made a couple of snarky comments about Zimmer, implying she was not above acting like a diva. Sounded to me like he had a lot of respect for Forbes (who went on to have a very strong and varied career after GL).
    • I was so confused why Devon was prying into Nicks love life and then it clicked and I remembered they’re brother-in-laws. Shows how little I pay attention to this show anymore. I was like uh? Do these two even know each other this well?
