TBF I felt both of us were vague enough to not completely give it away (though at least I was vouching for what I simply speculated and guessed correctly on and my reasons for thining it). We do try to be around these parts...if not for other's sakes...then at least Toups.

But if you feel spoiled, apologies on my part at least.

I just want to see Shelia hit it. She's in the perfect place to give some tickle for the pickle. You know what I'm sayin'? Mmm-hmm. Go to Daddy DILF and then go get some from Mr. Pizza Pie. Hit it, kitty and flaunt it even with 9 toes. Werk, girl.

Ridge's hair kind of reminded me of Steven Seagal back in the 90s. Then I wondered how Ron Moss would look in that getup with his hair all pulled back.

I'm all for twists, but the logic of putting Sheila behind bars where she was until $B sprung her.

Illogical, except @Soapsuds noted the show literally had nothing to start the year. Then we got the forced Thomas intensive therapy/redemption, Douglas moving in with Steffy for a minute.

Hopefully, RJ's arrival will kick-off bringing in some fresh stories and characters.

Props to B&B for giving us an old-school surprise cliffhanger before their "break" to keep the audience coming back week.

Despite its eventual outcome, there was no bigger surprise jaw-dropping cliffhanger before March Madness than the Maya/Myron bombshell in 2015.

    • I mentioned that last week and I am glad Tate and Sophia just realized that today lol.  I think the show is just tying up some of Ron's loose ends.   You would think Brady, Holly or even Marlena would have perhaps pointed out the age thing to Tate at some point. I am not sure I like this shift in Sophia's characterization though.  MK played Sophia as someone who always defied her mom's rules-she just didn't get caught.  She was openly trying to steal Tate from Holly with no shame, showing up at the Horton cabin in bikinis to seduce him, and blackmailing Holly to work all her shifts at the Bistro.  Once the recast started the show has acted like Sophia's lived in her room, sheltered her entire life lol.
    • I thought Dante was going to put hands on Gio
    • If Jordan never appeared again, I would absolutely not notice or miss her.  So, while Brook Kerr has her flaws, she at least appears to have a pulse and a personality as Portia.
    • That's because India, or the India MKA ended up playing, was created due to the fact that both she and Kristi Farrell were liked by TPTB, but the part they both read for didn't exactly fit either one of them so the show created two brand new characters for both actresses to play (India and Roxie) and opted not to cast the character they were intending to cast (A cousin of Beth's). I think that's why the show seemed to struggle at first with how to write both India and Roxie in their first months on the show because the characters weren't ever intended to exist.  And yes.. Grant A had a great body... but I didn't find him hot when he was playing Phillip.. only when he was playing Alec on AMC which baffles me since it was the same actor in both parts LOL
    • I shared this on Twitter and good grief the comments. Steffy fans can be such vile real-life human beings over a fictional character lol.
    • I remember Michael Logan interviewed L.A. actors/production staff about the movie. Susan Seaforth Hayes said she was dying to know Susan Lucci's reaction.
    • Thanks @Franko  @slick jones You may be interested in the Elisabeth Shue mention. I have to laugh that they apparently didn't even know Teri Hatcher was on Capitol. I have scans somewhere of SPW talking with soap actors about Soapdish. Some, like Mary Stuart, were not happy. I never had a lot of interest in the movie myself.
    • I never had much of a problem with Brandon Claybon's performance as Martin. He has gotten much better though. While I enjoy his confrontational scenes, I must say his lighter, and carefree scenes from Thursday's episode are the ones that stood out most in the last 3 days (to me).   I agree with all of this!
    • I know that Secret Storm had moved back to the 4/3 PM timeslot in the final months on air, so it's possible that they were trying to employ new techniques/elements to lure the teen demographic.   If that episode was around November/December 1973, I do wonder if the owners (AHS) were still trying to shop the show to other networks still.. or if they had accepted that the show was going to officially go off the air in Feb 1974 at the time of this episode airing.
