The judge was ridiculous. I've got a full docket. Handle this by yourselves.

Really?

She should've said it was binding and that Steffy needed to take Douglas home with her.

End of story!

Hope and Thomas could've been bickering with each other after Douglas left with Steffy.

So, umm....a judge would actually consider letting Thomas live with Steffy and Finn opposed to a parent? The two were just recently shot by Sheila who is still "on the loose" and a potential threat. Taylor shot Bill. Steffy has been a prescription drug addict.  I'm sure that's a better home to be in than Hope and Liam's (and I'm not even a fan of theirs).

She seems to be a judge I'd vote for (and yes, I do vote judges on the ballot). Yet, her "busy schedule" was fake AF. But did you see Heather Tom? Ooooh, child. She made me shop for some undies! Yes, I'm fillin' all the fantasy.

There's a safety risk no matter who Douglas had chosen. The problem is no judge would've allowed Douglas to stay with Steffy. He had two choices and Steffy wasn't one of them. The story like I said earlier was ridiculous to begin with.

Well, despite the fact that it's a dumb ass storyline, I have to give credit to the cute little kid even though I was way cuter. The only problem with me is that I developed horns on my head as early as the age of 5. But at least I'm being modest.

As a child, I somewhat went through Douglas's situation when I was really cute and Satan's spawn. Honestly, if I could turn back time, I wish I had the option of living with a cool Aunt. Someone who's actually fun to be with who got their lips done with fillers. Hell, yeah. I'm all over it. Back to Douglas, yeah. Even though we're talking about fictional characters, I see why Douglas made his choice. He's trying to find that neutral zone like Switzerland or something. He's done with the drama. All he does is hear people who can't mind their own business and gossip about others.

    • I'm not sure I agree with Bernstein's children on that. Bernstein's life and activism here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leonard_Bernstein#Social_activism_and_humanitarian_efforts
    • Thursday & Friday's episodes were excellent. The build-up was most definitely worth the wait (2 months). TMG, I can't give her enough accolades. AM, was also absolutely incredible. I think the fallout is going to have a ripple effect. The little clues that have been dropped,  hopefully, will weave seamlessly to reveal even bigger bombshells for the Dupree's and Martin.
    • Thanks, msn drives me nuts on the one hand but on the other hand their headlines appeal to me. And, I just don't do FoxNews.
    • The link doesn't work.  The actual link is this: https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/composer-leonard-bernstein-s-children-request-his-music-be-played-in-the-kennedy-center-in-rebuke-to-trump/ar-AA1E7gw5 That's a reprint of a FoxNews article. MSN reprints stuff from many sources. You can tell the source from the logo above the headline on the msn page. The FoxNews article is describing what Leonard Bernstein's children wrote -- as a "letter to the editor" of the New York Times. Instead of reading it filtered through FoxNews, here is the original: "Our Dad, Leonard Bernstein, Would Want His Music Played at the Kennedy Center" https://www.nytimes.com/2025/05/02/opinion/kennedy-center-leonard-bernstein-protest.html Non-paywall archived copy of the same NYTimes letter, without commentary: https://archive.is/QaLqD
    • Might be a long shot, because I can't find a thing online about it, but I was Googling the actress that played Nell Cleary (Frank's cop friend that went through academy and then became cops together during the entire Brent Lawrence storyline). To my surprise, she passed away in 2011, at the very young age of 45. I can't find her obituary or anything online about her passing, but I'm curious, does anyone know what happened? Her IMDB only shows a few other acting gigs post-Guiding Light, so she didn't make a career out of it, but I thought she was a great actress in her role as Cleary. Her name was Mary Peterson.
    • What was Ruth Martin's association to the Thornton family?  I only remember the daughter that dated Tad, and she had a buxom mother.  But, did Ruth date David Thorton before Joe?

Why didn't Steve respect Monica and Jeff's decision?  I get he's Jeff's father, and that's how it came out, but I don't like the ethics of the story. A stranger gets to make life or death decisions over a wife's demands?   I hope Monica secretly never forgave Steve's chauvinism.
    • Question: Jon-Michael Reed's review of 1977 is up in the retro soap section.  It includes a fleeting reference to comedic scenes between Jeanne Cooper and Julianna McCarthy regarding “Kay's would-be beau, Ralph the Plumber”.  Could someone please fill me in will more details? I forgot that Kay and Liz were friendly before Jill stole Kay's husband.  And the thought of Liz playing a comedic scene blows my mind, because I only recall her being dour both in demeanor and wardrobe.
    • I said this on Twitter on Friday when Leslie mentioned Chicago, so perhaps she might be related to one of Anita's bandmates. In addition, Leslie did say she grew up listening to The Articulettes too.
    • There was a scene in the past week or two with Leslie looking at some papers and mementos, which included an invitation or souvenir from Alan's memorial service or funeral -- it was dated as November 2024. Me just guessing but it seems to me that Martin's nightmares about the accident are from something longer ago than November.
