Was Rena let go or did she leave on her own accord? The only plus is that if they ever do bring Quinn back, they’ve established a set of circumstances that could lead to something interesting, like she was being blackmailed (no pun intended 🫣) or threatened somehow and was forced to leave town. Then he could say he's been missing her after they finally got together. Katie could still sympathize and feel bad for him. It would be far more like Quinn to put her career first than it does to just suddenly take off because she doesn't want to be married again. I mean, c'mon. It's a soap.
