Eileen Davidson will once again reprise her Daytime Emmy Award-winning role as Kristen DiMera on “Days of our Lives: Beyond Salem” when Chapter 2 drops with five all-new episodes releasing daily starting Monday, July 11 through Friday, July 15 on Peacock, the streaming service announced today. She’ll be joined by Christopher Sean who previously appeared on “Days of our Lives” from 2014-2018 as former baseball player Paul Narita – the character left the series after he learned that Will Horton (Chandler Massey) was still in love with Sonny Kiriakis (then played by Freddie Smith).

In addition to Davidson and Sean, the “Beyond Salem” cast will also include Primetime Emmy Award winner Loretta Devine as Angela, Tanner Stine as Joey Johnson, Colton Little as Andrew Donovan and Victoria Grace as Wendy Shin. Vincent Van Patten who in real life is married to Davidson, and appeared alongside her during her time on “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” will play the role of Phil Hellworth.

Previously announced cast members include Kristian Alfonso, Peter Reckell, Deidre Hall, Drake Hogestyn, Steve Burton, Stephen Nichols, Mary Beth Evans, Abigail Klein, Lucas Adams, Camila Banus, Victoria Konefal, Robert Scott Wilson and Remington Hoffman.

In Chapter 2, beloved characters from “Days of our Lives” take part in an epic, action-packed tale spanning the globe, from Monte Carlo to Hong Kong, as they trade the comforts of home for an adventure of a lifetime! Supercouple Steve and Kayla (Nichols and Evans) make a surprise visit to their children in Seattle, while private eye John Black (Hogestyn) travels to San Francisco to see his son, Paul (Sean).

Meanwhile, new parents Ben and Ciara (Wilson and Konefal) drop anchor in Montreal – where they are greeted by a much-missed Hope (Alfonso)! Over the course of five thrilling episodes, heartwarming family reunions take a dangerous turn as a mysterious adversary wreaks havoc on their lives in a tale filled with larger-than-life romance, jaw-dropping twists, and high-stakes drama that all connects back to a memorable plot that originated on “Days of our Lives” long ago.

Since leaving “Days of our Lives” in November 2018, Sean has starred as a voice actor in several lucrative TV and video game franchises, including “Fallout 76,” “Star Wars Resistance,” “Star Wars: Visions,” “Marvel’s Avengers,” “Ghost Tsushima” and “Gotham Knights.” He was a featured player in the third season of the Netflix thriller “You,” and more recently appeared in an episode of “NCIS: Los Angeles.”

Davidson continues appearing on “The Young and the Restless” playing her Daytime Emmy Award-winning role as Ashley Abbott in a recurring capacity. She more recently reprised her role as Kristen DiMera in both “Days of our Lives” and the Christmas movie “Days of our Lives: A Very Salem Christmas.”

This just keeps getting better and better.

I had a feeling Christopher Sean was going to be back. There was some speculation on Twitter. And now would be the perfect time for Paul to come back to Salem. Sonny needs someone to protect him from Leo while Will's away

And hello, Andrew! Glad to see that he's a part of this as well. There's so much they could do with him.

And considering the wording in the article, I assume this means that Ben and Ciara are on their way out.

They also Recast Joey? The actor looks the part...

Thoughts and I wonder if James was asked back but said no?

I would love for Andrew & Paul to be a couple. More legacy kids part of the LGBTQ Community

They can both come back to Salem and hang will Sonny & Will
