Right, I almost forgot.  I'm on board with that. I'm bored with Paris. Carter/Katie/Bill might have potential. And as mentioned, Quinn seems to be a missing factor in all this.

Okay you all are right. That kiss between Paris and Carter looked awkward. But...it is going to see it moving forward.

Speaking of forward, I totally forgot about Douglas!!! Good job with that plot thread rested for a week while we just focused on Brooke beside herself and dealing with how she felt, Ridge and how he felt, Steffy butting in. You know, playing beats. And finally, they circled back around.

That said...Thursday's episode was sooo stupid. It was like a silly version of 'Who's on First?' with Liam and Hope not getting a clue to save their life. I was just RME.

But Friday with Hope putting the pieces of the puzzle together was pretty good. I expected more of a reaction, but good all the same.

Meanwhile, Steffy is on my last nerve. LOL!!! Playing matchmaker. Quit.

My issue with Paris is we're constantly told...but not shown...how wonderful she is. All guy's fall at her feet, and I'm not sure why as the character has never been developed. She's more of a plot point versus a character.

I wish her mom would have been more of a "Dominque Deveraux" type character coming to town to mix things up. The show needs that.

Trying to pair Paris with Carter has me cringing.  They are ruining this character by having him have the hots for every woman at Forrester Creations.  Until recently, the only squeeze he had was Maya and now they're making him look like an oversexed fool.

Yeah, Paris came on with such promise as a sort of free spirit, but the characterization has become so muddled and aimless. There’s really no reason for her to be on B&B, but if they keep screwing up and ditching/sidelining their black characters (or casting them with boring or uncharismatic actors, like Delon de Metz), they’re not going to gain traction. Paris and Carter have zero chemistry, though. It just screams “Throw the black folks in a corner.”

Maybe Paris’s mom should go for $Bill. There are moments when I think they are pushing her towards Zende, which would be a massive fail.

I wouldn't mind a Katie/Bill/Grace triangle. Perhaps Grace gets some type of interview in one of Bill's publications about her being a doctor. And the two fall for each other causing some envy with Katie.

Then again, we would have to see Don Diamont and Heather Tom more than once a month. And for Brad not to have the attention span of a gnat.

Where is Ted King?

Very intelligent man lol

There's no reason why there shouldn't be one or two more stories playing out onscreen featuring characters that we haven't seen in months

I don't know why Brad is like this. I'm watching the old bold on YouTube and they seem to get good balanced airtime. The british soaps from what I've seen can be balanced with the cast for their 20 minutes

P.S. Just came back from a concert. Pressing play on the new episode. I hope it's goooood.
    • Yes! I actually started typing something up the other day but ended up not posting. It pretty much said something to the effect of the show feeling like there were a lot of balls in the air, the stories almost felt aimless. I am sure most of these will come to a head soon enough. I also wondered if it had something to do with the changes behind the scenes, but these lulls between major moments truly kill the momentum.
    • Will concede it's moving along slowly, but I am still hinged on every word every second. I refuse to miss anything.  OTOH, I watch GH were things are moving along  little quicker, but I have to FF certain scenes because it's extremely repetitive, where I don't get that from BTG.
    • I am toggling between Apr ‘82 Kay and Nikki, and Aug ‘92 Kay and Nikki… and it is a jarring juxtaposition! Nikki has calcified into a Stepford Wife

    • I've watched the show faithfully since the premiere, but I've found that I've let myself fall behind the past few weeks. It sort of feels like nothing is happening again. Does anyone else feel the same way? I would think for November sweeps they'd be pulling out all the stops.
    • I didn't even watch but saw the recap. I can't believe Billy Flynn has been saddled with all of this. He so deserved better.
    • Vernon was spotted by the worst person possible. Leslie is definitely going to use that to her advantage somehow.
    • Yesss! I cackled when Dr. Walked told Leslie to Google him (check my credentials). What is Elon's issue with Izaiah again? Considering we are supposed to believe that Izaiah was some troubled youth, why wouldn't Elon be gald his son has seemed to mature and has job at a great school. I get that family wounds and patterns can run deep, and somehow Joey was a paternal figure to Izaiah but Izaiah's troubles seem behind him.

    • Yeah. I wasn't feeling it either. If it was meant to be a chem test, it didn't work. I don't think so. Because I think Neil and Liz moved into that house after Stefano "died", and Neil lived there until he went to go see his patients and never came back
