Today was fine with the exception of Cin. Lord, they're in bed AGAIN. Their scenes didn't fit into the episode at all. I guess that's what happens when you completely isolate a couple from the rest of the characters on the show and give them no storyline besides f-cking.

I enjoyed Tony, Johnny, and Chanel.

Johnny asking about Tony/Andre and Kristen's marriage: "How did that happen? Aren't you two brother and sister?" Tony: "Not by blood." Johnny: *pause* "Oooookayyyy." Bahahaha! Chanel: "White people are crazy" LMAO

I liked how Tripp was so skeptical about the possession. That is how a normal person would react to hearing that, lol.

Doug asking Eli not to leave him Aww.

Do we know how far ahead DAYS is taping? Honestly I'm just trying to figure out how long it'll be until EJ looks this hot on screen

I finally have something to look forward to

Not sure if DAYS has did this before and I missed it, but they posted a bunch of questions on twitter asking viewers to answer. Sort of an impromptu twitter focus group survey, which I find curious.  Above are just a couple of the questions.

I appreciate that Will and Sonny are winning by a landslide. Everyone who voted means Zach Tinker's Sonny, btw

Freddie can stick to charging people for YouTube videos.

Those triangles are all pretty pathetic. Sami isn't even on the show currently, so not much of a triangle there. Rafe/Ava/Nicole is pathetic. There's no story there. Have Nicole hook up with EJ until Sami comes back. Imagine Sami coming back to Salem and finding EJ/Nicole together. It writes itself. Brady/Chloe/Philip has been done to death. I do like Allie/Chanel/Tripp, though in my mind Tripp is more of a fourth wheel and the triangle is actually the twins fighting over Chanel.

The one question that I genuinely couldn't decide on was the best newcomer. Paulina and the recasts for EJ, Johnny, and Chanel have all been awesome additions to the show.

The Beyond Salem question was definitely the hardest. I almost wanted to say Austin/Carrie to boost up their numbers because I knew Will/Sonny would run with it anyway.

In the end I am glad that my answer is the #1 answer for every question. It makes me feel very basic but right

Okay.  I literally thought it was Drake Hogestyn dubbing for Deidre in 1995 as the Devil

I don't know why but he had a cheesy voice in general and I just assumed that.  I was young...

    • I feel bad for judging a child, but, to be fair, she's over 40 now. My daughter was into Halloweentown when it reran on the Disney Channel in the 2010s. I wasn't impressed then, either.
    • Isn't that funny how certain memories as young children stick with you through life... Haha I totally get what you mean. That's how I felt with GL in the beginning, but then I got used to it. Seeing so many of my favorite AMC characters on GL was wild - Walker, Irizarry, Dusay, Budig, Aleksander, Gil Rogers, etc.  Ironically, it helps that Irizarry and Dusay played both mother/son in both shows. I know Marcy Walker was wasted on GL as Tangie, but selfishly I'm so glad she was. When she left GL and returned immediately to AMC as Liza Colby, man was it such a great storyline. The Tad/Dixie/Liza triangle was so emotional, tense and memorable. The AMC fans got lucky with that one. WRCW, Tad/Liza working together, the affair, then Jason Sheffield and the shooting on-set... all amazing stuff.   LOL!
    • I remember thinking that he was fantastic after Reva's 1990 "death," with his grief and attempted relationship with Harley. I also remember the cute Marah, not the toothy chick from Halloweentown.
    • Totally agree - we have much to learn about Vernon, and I'd love to see it.
    • I've enjoyed Vernon but I wouldn't be opposed to learning more about his life beyond his political work. What kind of family does he come from? Does he have any siblings? I feel like that could be an interesting thing to look at.
    • GH:       A- DAYS:   A- BTG:     B- B&B:     F Y&R:     F
    • I've always said, Robert Newman does not get enough credit for the popularity of Josh/Reva. Had he stayed in '91, and had years to build other relationships before Kim returned, I'm not sure we'd have been stuck with "always".
    • Bizarrely, while I didn't see it, I distinctly remember my younger sister telling me. We were walking to the store, and at the top of the hill she let out "Roger raped Holly", and I swear I remember it echoing for what seemed like forever. She would've been five at the time.  I know,,,which I find extraordinary. I have toyed with the idea of watching Another World for Maeve, Kathleen Widdoes and Beverlee. But watching Vanessa call Emma Snyder "momma" kinda weirded me out. LOL. I believe that's what I read in the recaps from the time as well. I meant, I couldn't quite believe that the audience wouldn't understand that a woman preparing to go to her engagement party  was raped. I know that on ATWT John raped Kim while they were married, resulting in Andy, but I think they shied away from calling that marital rape.
    • I have my fingers crossed for a baby to be named Monica Michelle & called Monica. And, yes, I do realize that is not equal to having her onscreen but, like you said & of course a recast is unthinkable.
    • I would love to have Monica on screen. Leslie Charleson has died. She played the role for 46 years. Monica should pass as well. No one is going to accept a long-term recast for Monica, no matter how great  the actress they could get.
