If this is going to be an Alzheimer’s story, I don’t want to see it. We’ve just been through two long stories on two different soaps. I’ve had enough.

Not much happened today, but still a very solid episode.

Raven Bowens is still doing a great job as Chanel. She plays her as a much more mature, more adult Chanel. This was conveyed really well in her scenes with Paulina.

Philip and Ava are both jealous lunatics. I wonder if they would make a good couple

I'm still rooting for Brady and Chloe though.

Ron is completely incapable of writing an Alzheimers story, or anything at all that is socially relevant, sensitive or adult. Will Doug and Julie be possessed by the devil? Cloned? Abducted by extraterrestrials?

I'm dreading to see what this story is actually going to be about. Bill and Susan deserve the very best, and with Ron, that is  not going to happen, alas.

Killing off Bill and Laura Horton was not enough.

Actually, if Doug's long-forgotten-about biological son Little Dougy (also known as Charles) or one of his descendants turned up, I wouldn't hate that as much as most other potential stories Ron could inflict upon us.

So am I. I'm really looking forward to it.  And hopefully Chanel/Johnny/Allie/Tripp will be the big story on the main show next week.

I think Carrie and Austin have had more trouble in the last three years then they have in the last three decades

I like how they're setting up Beyond Salem. Big umbrella storylines like that have always been one of my favorite things to see on soaps.

IKR?  Austin/Carrie have a pretty volatile marriage.  They are always breaking up.  Don't know why Anna is so worried about it now lol.

Thank goodness we have 70 year old John and Marlena to save the world on their super spy missions lol.  I love it but it's so silly.  About as silly as Lisa Rinna as an ISA agent, but I am totally going to watch Beyond Salem.  I am excited about it.

    • On that same note, it's astounding to have mobster Sonny in the same office with Mayor Laura chatting it up about their mutual grandson. Think about the reaction if John Gotti and Mayor Eric Adams had a friendship

?? I guess the Logic behind Sonny & Jason acceptance is like when i saw a documentary where FBI agents said they'd rather deal with the mafia than terrorists or cartels---they're the "lesser of 3 evils". Anyway I'm about 30 years late on this convo.
    • Im confused. Does Jessica know anything about June's relation to Tyrell? At the start of the episode, it seemed like June was gonna slip that he was her son but she caught herself but later in the episode she referred to him as "my boy" and Jessica had no reaction like that wasnt a surprise to her No, Anita was putting money in the account every 6 months but we werent told how much was in it when Leslie became a beneficiary. The show has set it up that it was multiplying based off the interest so that its really worth quite alot now. I dont buy it but thats what they've told us
    • What was the point in Lori's return as Mrs. Max Hollister? That little story never made much sense to me.  Were there plans for a permanent return? Or even a new family with her as the matriarch?
    • I guess it depends on your device.  I can watch CW shows via their website on my Windows PC.
    • Ooooo A Liam episode? I'll watch it later today. They sure are churning the daily episodes out early.

    • Welcome back, Shawn Douglas! It's been a while. It really is too bad that the writers don't really have an interest in the character because there are still a lot of ways that he can be used effectively on the canvas. He should have been a part of the 60th anniversary celebrations as well. If anything, just to represent Bo and Hope. And I'd much rather see Jada paired with him than possibly with Theo. But I enjoyed him getting caught up with Belle, and comforting her. I'm sure they'll find their way back to each other at some point but I do like them as divorced friends. I just hope we see it play out onscreen. Belle being a dick about Sami again was unnecessary though. And we finally saw Liam again!  I'm curious to see how this storyline is going to play out, and who's going to be weaved into it. He and Abe do work well together too. And we learned that he has a kid. Hopefully, we'll learn more about his character in the future. But I'm not really sure about Johnny and Chanel suddenly having problems with raising Trey. They've wanted a baby for so long, so I don't understand why this is even an issue. They should know by now what it's like to raise a baby. But I did enjoy Johnny's scenes with EJ, and that Johnny still hasn't refused to forgive him. This storyline was/is very clunky, but having the two of them be at odds is the right decision. There's so much story potential that can be drawn from that. As for Chad... there was no time for us to see his reunion with Will, but there's time for us to see him talking BS with Leo? I don't get it. And I don't get all this random dating app stuff either. Leo and Javi were boring af too. If we're forced to endure them, can they at least have some real conflict? The two of them losing the baby was the perfect opportunity for it.
