Telma Hopkins!!!

 

 

 

How many Family Matters actors have come through Y&R? Bryton, Michelle Thomas (R.I.P.), Darius McCrary, now Telma… anyone I’m forgetting?

People on Twitter including myself think Telma Hopkins should've been YoHarmony aka Yolanda. But as I tweeted out Y&R is going to Y&R. I'm glad Telma stays busy with guest-starring on other shows because sadly they're going to waste her in this thankless role. 

I remember when Kristoff guested on Family Matters

Any way you slice it, that second iteration of Yolanda Hamilton (as some rock and roll roadie/groupie) was just not well-written. At all. It would've been deeply disappointing no matter who they casted in the role.

Nevertheless, I hope Telma Hopkins has a good, safe time on set-she wants to work and this is a job. So there's that, I guess.

2009: Darius McCrary joined Y&R as recast Malcolm Winters.

2021: Telma Hopkins joins Y&R as Denise Tolliver.

Aww, so nice to see them together again! 

She looks great! It's cute seeing them together.

When I had first saw this I had a flashback to the days of us joking about MAB’s stunt castings lol.

 

That said, she looks really good! 

I wonder if Devon will hire her to sing Tie a Yellow Ribbon....lol

If MAB was still there she would have them all perform at that tacky hotel or restaurant. 🤣🤣🤣
