I’m glad Hope called out Liam on his [!@#$%^&*] it really makes him look pathetic and desperate. It would be nice if Hope ended up dumping Liam as well and moved on with a new man it town or something, finally freeing both Hope and Steffy from that black hole. Liam can go shack up with Shauna or Flo lol.

She really did, and even offering to wear that for Zende was weird. A fashion house has no models available? She’s nothing but a hoe.

i still don’t get why Zoe went all the way over to Carter’s place to turn down his request that she move in with him. Witch.

I read the recaps - did they explain where Nicole is?  Didn’t Zende marry her?  Just from reading I used to defend Liam but it’s so worn out now.  Why would Staffy, Hope or anyone put up with him?  They both should have kicked him to the curb years ago.  Reading that still going on gives me no desire to watch.

It’s not like B&B is well-written. Finn is a nothing character. Flo/Wyatt couldn’t be more meh. The Ridge/Brooke/Bill and Steffy/Liam/Hope merry-go-rounds are as boring as they come. Yet Zende/Zoe/Carter feels particularly uninspired. They’re all so dull. Not even a tiny bit of charisma between the three of them, and LSV can do better, we know. Everything about them feels thrown together. Probably because they were.

When I read they let Courtney go - Sally - I shook my head.  What a bubbleheaded move.  She was one of the 3 or 4 so good actors on the show and they just never gave her anything.  Back when I watched regularly what did they do?  Link her with...LIAM.   Out of interest in her I might tune in to Y&R just to see her.  Back when I was watching, Y&R needed some kind of life breathed into it and that was a year ago.

I have no idea what the deal is with LSV and why they never give him anything.  I saw he would be back on contract and I immediately thought - for what?  They're just going to give him weddings and divorces to do for the other characters.  I just don't get it.  The man is smoking hot and instead they have these women throwing themselves and chasing repeatedly for Liam and Wyatt.  Zoe/Scary Spice - never understood it.  They had a great little actress in the girl who played Nicole, and even Sasha and the Avants and they just jettisoned it for more Liam, Steffy, and Hope.   I bet Jacob Young is laughing now.

I don’t know what that means and don’t want to.  He can play dollies with Douglas and Vinnie?  And then have Douglas do the Shining Finger thing and croak “RedRum!” On Halloween.  I love reading recaps because I can only imagine how bad it is.

I see Thudley must using rejected Passions storylines from Reilly’s story bible.

It practically writes itself. Vinny is there to help Thomas get through the pain of losing Hope and one night he and Thomas end up going at it. I'd much rather see a sexually confused Thomas then a crazy ass, doll obsessed Thomas.

What you NOT gonna do to me!
    • Bravo to every single person responsible for today's episode. From the writer on down to Kraft services. Yall I'm getting emotional but I wish my granny was here to have seen this soap since she was the one to introduce me to this medium.

    • Everything is fraught with confusion. Why is Leslie pleading with the Duprees to accept Eva? She's not biological family so what is this? She's the product of an affair with their in-law so Leslie wants them to accept her? I'm getting GOOD TIMES vibes of Leslie and Eva minus the physical abuse.
    • Big fan of today's writing. In particular, I like EJ complexity, crying over Johnny and conspiring at the same is tough to pull off in the same episode, but it goes very far in explaining EJ's motives. I don't hate the idea of Cat and EJ, and I especially appreciate everyone trying to warn her, but she is sticking to the plan. Boy oh boy, when Brandon Beemer wears a shirt that matches his eyes, I get lost in the screen!
    • Yeah, I think that Leslie's speech would have had a bit more of an impact if Ted had been the Dupree's son, with Nicole being the daughter in law they loved like a daughter. But being that he's the son in law, and that Eva (at least not right now) isn't technically a Dupree, it doesn't hold as much weight. They aren't caring much for Ted right now and their feelings could be trickling down to Eva. Though, I do think they have some sympathy for her. I really enjoyed today's show. Loved a stripped, down hurt but still strong in her resolve Nicole. DD continues to shine and shows why she is IMO the heart of the show. I felt her words, and anger at Ted and how she broke down in Kat's arms at the end. She is just wonderful all the way around. I also loved the way that Anita read Leslie. She was spot on about her and how mishandled everything with Ted and Eva. And speaking of Leslie... I immediately thought the same thing once I saw that scene. That what she exhibited was trash behavior. I don't think she's a good mother. In fact, I think she's lousy. Granted, I have missed some episodes, but I haven't really seen her do anything to indicate that she really cares for Eva or her well being. All she's really done is try and manipulate/use Eva for her own agenda since she came to town.
    • I thought Brandon C was much more believable as Martin today.  Before, I watched an actor trying to portray a character.  Friday and today, I simply felt the character.
    • The way Leslie uses her love shower Eva with and then snatches it away when Eva doesn’t do what she wants is something that should be focused on down the road.    Great end to the episode overall and kudos to the writing and production team for carefully executing all of this.

date: Monday, May 5 | Christopher Dunn, Lynn Martin | Anthony Pascarelli Dana is certifiably insane. Beyond insane. And I oop... Anita is about to pop off on her, and this is where it gets good. Oh God, Deadbeat, stop while you're ahead. You are not one to talk with how you treat your husband and children. Settle. Go on, Nicole. Tell Theodore exactly who his busted ass is. Not Dana comparing herself to those she's compared herself to. Damn, Katherine is really putting Eva beyond the bottom of her shoe with her insults. Savage, but deserved, because she called out Eva the first day. She knew, and not a single person believed her. Oh, Theodore, how dare you try and play yourself on the same level as Nicole; it's completely different. Mama Anita is up to bat, and she's going to come out swinging. And she delivered it to Dana in the way only the matriarch of a family could. Nicole kicking Theodore out "day by day" is everything. She's not taking this anything but day by day. W H E W... Katherine telling Eva she's dead to her. Wow. That's got to cut. Dana locking Eva's ass out and drinking her wine in her robe is the ultimate villain. True villain. Notes: Anyone trying to sell that Brandon Claybon (Martin) has improved in his acting must be lying, because this is laughable and bad. Next up for recast: the role of Martin Richardson. Omg. It's so damn bad. This man cannot act. At all. He's got to GO! Daphnée Duplaix (Nicole) is showing how much she's been missed from daytime. Ambyr Michelle (Eva) once again gave an award-winning performance in her scenes. Outstanding, standout star! The montage with Tamara Tunie (Anita) singing "Amazing Grace" was a brilliant touch to wrap up the episode, and to allow us the ability of moving on on Thursday.
    • That ending was beautifully done. Anita took us to church.
