I know, that's been my literal reaction any time I saw them listed to appear together at various events. In fact, they were at an event maybe two weeks ago. I want to say I always get Howard Platt mixed up with Edward Platt from "Get Smart," but he's been gone for over 50 years, so I have no idea where my mind goes.

Kaylee's father Joshua Hottle recorded a facebook live video (Link) message with the written caption "I am taking a flight that I never would like to take." The video is 21 minutes long and entirely in American Sign Language.

Kaylee Hottle made her feature film debut in the 2021 film "Godzilla vs. Kong" in which Jia forms a bond with Kong and communicates with him primarily through American Sign Language. Her performance earned her praise for bringing authentic deaf representation to a major Hollywood blockbuster.

The Atlanta native reprised her role as Jia in "Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire" in 2024, a performance that earned her a Saturn Award nomination for best performance by a younger actor.

Thanks for the info, luckily the passenger in the backseat behind Kaylee was not injured and the driver was injured in the accident. Inside Edition had mentioned that the car they were in was riding Honda Accord. Only 2 survived.

R.I.P to actor Philip MacHale who played Tony Lord # 2 died on July 26. He was 81. During the late 70's and 80's he was in demand as a commercial actor. He was a long-time spokesperson in a series of Hardees commercials as a racecar driver named Road Runner.

R.I.P. Jean Lodge (full name Jean Margaret Lodge Shaughnessy) actress of stage and screen. She passed August 5, 2026, one day after her 99th birthday. She was an actress in her own right; and also the matriarch of a soap writer/actor/producing clan.

• Jean Lodge's husband was two-time Emmy-nominated screenwriter Alfred "Freddie" Shaughnessy, who developed and served as headwriter and producer on 1971-75 ITV series Upstairs, Downstairs. They were married from 1948 until his death in 2005.

• Jean Lodge's sons are soap actor Charles Shaughnessy and soap director/producer David Shaughnessy. Her daughter-in-law is soap writer Anne Schoettle.

• Jean Lodge's granddaughter is Amy Jean Shaughnessy, daughter of Anne and David. Amy is an actress and also worked/works as personal assistant to Bill Hayes and Susan Seaforth Hayes. Amy broke the news of her grandmother's passing.

• The DAYS character Jeannie Donovan (later known as Jeannie Theresa Donovan, or just Theresa) was named after Jean Lodge by writer Schoettle.

Jean Margaret Lodge was born on Aug. 4, 1927, in Hull, Yorkshire, England.

She started out on the stage at the Windsor Repertory Company.

Jean Margaret Shaughnessy (neé Lodge) left us today, one day after her 99th birthday. She passed, as she would say, “quite quietly” and peacefully in her sleep.

My grandmother was a beautiful, talented, complicated, passionate, emotional, energetic woman who was always on the move and full of life.

The perfect hostess Jean enjoyed parties, friends, socializing, the theatre, feeding the ducks, museums, gardening, music, long walks in nature, animals, painting (she was amazing!), cooking, art, traveling… the list goes on. She loved her two sons, Charles and David, her daughters-in-law, Susie and Annie, and her five granddaughters, Amy, Jenny, Katie, Maddy, and Josie. She was blessed with two great-grandsons, Julian and Noa.

An ever-present matriarch, her silliness, stubbornness, joyfulness, and her love for storytelling will continue on through her family. Us. Forever.

We will miss her. We will carry her with us always. We love her all the world and then some…❤️ to Jean xx

It is with a heavy heart that I announce the passing of my dear mother, one day after her 99th birthday. Jean Shaughnessy (Lodge) was a force of nature. An amazing wife, mum, Grandma, Great Grandma, artist and actress! She lived life to the fullest and was a generous soul, who welcomed everyone with a good and caring heart. She is at peace now, and I know she made a difference in the lives of all whom she met! We will miss her, but she will be with us always.❤️
