In light of how well Lindsay Hartley was as Sam I would’ve fired Kelly Monaco for that. Girl are you kidding me?! You work on a set with a bunch of elderly people and won’t wear a mask? On a high paying job like a soap?! And I can say as an essential worker those are the people who I stay furthest away from. If they can’t even wear a mask you know they aren’t being cautious in their day to day life.

It sucks for the cast having to deal with her. She’s been sulking around for ages and barely can read her lines as it is.

I agree. I'd can her ass, and I don't dislike Kelly usually. To me it's a firing offense and she can't be trusted. (Plus, Hartley was better in the role in one day than she's been in god knows how many years)

That’s what makes me more willing to accept firing her. It would be another story if she was there giving it her all, but how you gonna be this difficult when you don’t even try?!

She refused to wear a mask. I would have tossed her out . I hope GH has Lindsay on speed dial. Cause I bet Kelly may play nice for a minute but I bet she shows out again

While I think LH has been fab as a temp Sam.  Her energy doesn't fit on the stark, melancholy vibe GH has had for well over a decade.  Still...I didn't fall asleep watching Sam like I did with Kelly M was on.

Lastly, in one of the Locher room reunions..Holly G (from days and Oltl) said everyone is replacable.and even cited the KM/LH as an example.

Sorry if this has already been answered, but why did LH have to sub for KM? Is KM a Trump-y or is there some other motivation for not wearing a mask? I would have expected some others on the show to refuse wearing a mask.

Ha! Just saw this - should have gone further back. Aren't there a few alleged Trumpsters

on the show? That's why I was surprised as there were several who would have come to mind had you told me someone on GH was refusing to wear a mask before I would have guessed KM, but it was made clear it was a woman so I guess that makes sense.

KM's mother tweeted that KM had trouble using the mask, and that she has claustrophobia.  The show didn't make a statement.  KM didn't make a statement.  It was only tweets from her mother.

But the pandemic has been around for months and she never got used to wearing a mask? What?

^ That was July 31st.

But meanwhile on July 27th ...

Steve Burton and Bradford Anderson did a facebook Live on Aug 13 and when somebody asked them about KM, they replied that KM is back working.
On the same day, Lindsay Hartley tweeted and instagrammed "Thank you generalhospitalabc for the fortunate experience to play Sam, and especially during this moment in time.

I enjoyed their individual scenes with other characters before they all came together at the Pub to commiserate over their relationships with Sami. I thought that was broken down pretty well. I just wish it had gone on a little longer. And I actually found it kinda funny too lol it seemed more mature than what we're used to. That's the kind of humor that should be on a soap. But I'm not really sure about all this talk of Dante Vitali and Sami's engagement though, especially since it doesn't look like Ali Sweeney is coming back anytime soon. What's the point of it all if we're (probably) not going to see it? It also looked like today was the first round of Brady vs. Xander as well lol I enjoyed their fight, and I'm interested in seeing this storyline play out. Even though I'm sure that Sarah will ultimately go back to Xander in the end, I'd like to see what happens along the way, and how they and everyone around them are affected by this. Btw, Theo and Jada? Idk. I still think he had the most chemistry with Arianna. And he was a bit of a dick too. It also seemed a little out of character for Jada for her to be so OK with him being such a dick  And though Alex and Stephanie were very boring again and need much better conflict than this book stuff, I am interested in the mystery of who's targeting Alex.  And yeah, I know this is a nitpick, but why is the Square still open after the gala? Isn't it supposed to be really late at night?
    • In fairness, Hillary and Bob Woods were thick as thieves again at least by the end of OLTL. But both she and I believe Mark Derwin not so subtly dissed Kale Browne in the oral history, lol.

    • Frat Boy Jr.'s reaction to seeing Luna was just awful acting. It was so bad that I started laughing.

Does anyone have screenshots of it?
    • Geez, I hadn't heard that Doctors story. HBS really did go through it.
    • No offense to the actors involved, but dear God in heaven: I don't know HOW viewers managed to get through that storyline with Maggie, Frank, Cal and baby Jill without running into oncoming traffic.  Then, to make matters worse, they dragged poor Diana into the mess!  I don't care WHO gets that damn baby!  Just wrap it up and move ON already!
    • Poor HBS.  To have to put up with Stephen Burleigh, who stuck his knee between her legs while rehearsing a love scene on THE DOCTORS, then told the director that's what he did with his wife; Kincaid, who had more hair on his chest and upper lip than Koko the Gorilla; Kale Browne, who taped his lines all over the OLTL studio floor, because he couldn't ever be bothered to [!@#$%^&*] memorize them; and Robert S. Woods, who apparently thought it was still 1979 and that he was still smolderingly sexy, so why should Bo Buchanan be stuck being in a happy marriage with Nora?  After all that, no wonder she jumped at the chance to play a lesbian on VENICE, lol.
    • @Maxim Thank you for the mini-review and clip from several pages ago. I appreciate you using the Bo/Alex clip as them meeting again by this point was a real surprise to me. The scene has some layers, getting a glimpse of Alex genuinely wanting the best for Bo rather than gloating. I was disappointed it ended with Tina dragging her out of the room for some much less interesting sparring (I did enjoy Alex pointing out just how quickly Tina got over Cord).
