Oh. My. God.

I am heartbroken for Patrika Darbo and Jennifer Bassey, both wonderful performers. At least Patrika has a primetime Emmy and she's taken this very graciously...I can only imagine for Jennifer what absolute torture this is.

Wait, you can't be considered a guest performer if you've appeared on a series before?  If that's the case, then what COULD you consider them to be?  Because, to me, it doesn't sound as if she (and Thomas Calabro) is a regular, recurring, or even semi-recurring character.

Maybe the rules should have been clearer and maybe the cutoff for submissions should have been moved up to allow time to go through each submission to verify they followed all the rules.  It's a horrible situation all around.

They revoked the Emmy two years later?

The one they are revoking is from this year.  Darbo also won a Primetime Emmy two years ago.

I'm trying to figure out the fuss.  Darbo's role is recurring, so it should be revoked.  Embarrassing to even make such a colossal error!

Oh, there’s more to come. NATAS has made the Daytime Emmys a joke for years and their chickens are coming home to roost.

Is she having fun or is she being serious? I know that actors work hard and deserve recognition - it just seems very...tense.
