Just mentioned in the other thread that Molly Burnett jumped into emotional scenes as Maxie without missing a beat. Of course, it helps that sheโ€™s done it before, but she didnโ€™t even need much time to ease in.

Molly impressed me she was quite good. Everything else was unbearable. Why did Nina kidnap Peter?ย ย giphy.gif

Molly did well, but seriously, someone needs to stuffย  a gag on the Staff's mouth once she starts chomping on the scenery...

Do they ever address, um, toilet needs when these poor people are chained to the bed? Catheters, bedpans, what?

On Coronation Street this year they had a hostage story and allowing him access to a toilet was a key part of the storyline.ย  It is the only time that I can recall it being addressed.ย  Poor DOOL's Shawn and Y&R's Brad were chained shirtless for months with no access to a toilet; although Brad's kidnapper made sure he could shower.

See, I like when those little details are considered and addressed. Good on the Corrie writers in that case.

There's clearly nothing worth talking about on the show right now, but I love that Michael is playing Nelle.

I can't say that I hate the show at the moment, but neither am I overly thrilled with it either.ย  Everything to say has already been said by the other posters here, again, again, and again.ย  Carly, Sonny, & Co. will never be like the Hughes family with mob ties, no matter how much the writers try to convince us otherwise.ย  I miss Genie Francis and Kin Shriner terribly.ย  I miss the character of Nicholas.ย  But, here I go again, saying what everyone else has already said.

Observations from my hubs, who has been watching with me over the last few weeks, but pretends heโ€™s doing things on his mobile device instead:

ย

โ€That girl (referring to Nelle) is good (as an actress), but her part sucksโ€

โ€What drugs is Maxie on? She looks awful.โ€ ย Last week it was, โ€œThey got a new Maxie? Did the other one O.D.?โ€

โ€He needs to just leave the show.โ€ Referring to Michael Easton as Finn.

โ€Carly canโ€™t be on trial without having been evaluated by a court appointed psychiatrist.โ€

โ€Cute detective knows Nelle is a phony.โ€

โ€Michael looks tired.โ€

โ€Thatโ€™s not the real Monica.โ€

And everyone is a Falconeri, except with an emphasis on the first syllable, as in โ€œPeter August F uckineri, Sonny Corinthos F uckineriโ€.

For anyone still watching, how is the Mike story these days? It was the best thing on the show when I was still watching.

Mikeโ€™s story has stalled somewhat, sans being turned into more of the secret of Croton (the place where Sonny buried the body of an enemy, that Mike somehow knew about, then dug up the body and moved it,ย and now doesnโ€™t remember , but sometimes remembers, where he moved the body to) that Mike almost shared with Felix, who is his full time nurse.

Whatโ€™s with Carly abscess this 1950s ย mental hospital story? Wasnโ€™t this done a hundred times DECADES ago? God, this is bad.

My silly hubโ€™s response when I told him DZ tweeted he was done at the show: โ€œGuess he has no F uckineriโ€™s left to give.โ€
