They cannot use Liz unless she is there to praise Franko.   "You saved Port Charles".....  It truly is nauseating to see every scene he's in being about praising the character.   Remember how much  Franko was missed when Howarth's negotiations were at a stand-still? Neither do I!  The same with Devry   gone, and not necessary to bring back. Same with Easton while he was gone.

The only reason the three of them are still around is because ValenVarni want them there.

Also, no one needed cheesy Carla Hall as Cook 2. The whole point of referring to an unseen character is that they are never seen.   Her hamming it up did nothing for the story.  Who doesn't have the food for an event started earlier in the day?  Ridiculous.   Glad to see her show is finally going off the air.

I can’t believe with these numbers that ABC cancelled The Chew to give GMA more time instead of GH.  I just wish TPTB we’re making a show I was enjoying, so I could support a network that is clearly supporting its soap when there is a cheaper option available.

Great job Father Griffin. Banging mother and daughter.  Kiki must love sharing sloppy seconds from her mom........(Yes I know he left the priesthood, but he still walks around like a sanctimonious douc he-bag.)

OMG I tried to get through six episodes starting with May 14 and nurses ball.  Wow, the show is a mess right now.  When Spinelli is breaking into computers with Jason/Sam, you know the writers are scraping the bottom of the Bob Guza barrel.  I think Shelly and Chris are either burnt out or there are other cooks in the kitchen.  Nothing's working.  The ball numbers were horrible.  Most of the acting has taken a turn for the worse.  And the Anna/Finn/Alexis plot is written at the fourth grade level. Embarrassing for the actors.  But I fear Barbara Bloom's long story bible is on the horizon for GH's final swan song year.

I don't bother blaming these writers for anything anymore. This is ValenVarni's crap and everyone knows it. Whenever CVE and SA start getting on a roll, Valentini goes in and changes the stories to make them about Franko, Nina, Julian or Finn. (As in Laura running for mayor, making a difference.)  Is Mayor Ned or Alexis able to help the city?  Nope Franko and a one off member of Jim Harvey's molestation story come in to save PC.

About to watch today's episode to see him start shining his new sparkly penny, EH. I'm sure I'll be a fan of hers, too.

I was about to go through the tv if they had dared have Anna tell Robin that Peter is her brother via a one-sided telephone call.

But now, with Anna jetting off to Berkeley, I have a feeling that the conversation will happen off screen which will be just as bad.

If we have to sit through this retcon, could they at least attempt to make me care about the players involved?

Personally, I think the Anna/ Robin scene should be on-screen, but they have played her having the same conversation with EVERYONE over and over. I don't need to hear it again,as much as I love FH, We get it ValenVarni. You hired another meh actor and tied him to a family. So what else is new?

    • It really is ridiculous how happy episodes from 40 years ago make me. God, MKA is so young!
    • Holy sh.it. THAT was a damn soap opera. I’m at a loss for words for how good that was.
    • A private elevator penthouse with a spiral staircase to the primary suite.  Sign me up! The only deficit was that various riff-raffs seemed to have easy access to the elevator.

    • Same here.  Anyone who voluntarily left Margo's penthouse set (except to go overseas or to Heaven) was immediately on my blacklist.  lol.

    • The penthouse was my favorite set... and it changed hands from Margo to Draper/April to Miles/Nicole then to just Miles... before he opted to give that beautiful place for that drab house with the even more drab Beth.  That was a jump the shark moment for me LOL
    • The storyline April and Draper are involved in during the summer/autumn of 1979 seems fairly "benign" but soon turns very serious.  April has a VERY intrusive, wealthy mother (Margo Huntington Dorn).  Margo knows that April and Draper (who've recently had a miscarriage and are theoretically never going to be able to conceive another baby) want to buy a house.  Margo hoodwinks them into buying a house they can't afford.  The house is listed at $100,000 (about $400,000 in today's dollars).  Margo pays the first $35,000 and leads Draper to believe the asking price of the house is $65,000 instead of $100,000.  If Draper finds out his meddling mother-in-law paid 1/3 of the cost of the home and tricked him, he'll be mad as hell.   Meanwhile, Draper has received a job offer from a prestigious New York law firm.  Margo pulls some strings and has the senior partner in the firm rescind the offer, to keep April in Monticello.  If Draper finds out about THAT, he'll be even angrier with Margo than he will be about the house trickery.  All of that is "bubbling under the surface" in the fall of 1979 but will be the next major story, as everything begins to spiral out of control.   Yep, you've got the Karrs and their very basic middle-class house, the Victorian-themed place where Miles and Nicole live, April and Draper's old craftsman house with the exposed beams, the Madisons & their Mission revival house, and Margo with her 1970s-chic penthouse.  Each of the sets is completely different.  And their budget was like zero, lol.
    • It felt weird and out of place.  I get it. While I agree with those on here that say he's gotten better, it's still really bad. I'm not seeing the "good" acting some see...but I'll give him a B for being better than when he first started. There's potential. I'll leave it at that.
    • It's like watching paint dry at a slow-ass pace. It's bad acting. Entirely. Excellent? With Claybon? Never. Ever.
