To quote Pyscho-Taylor "I HAAAAAATE HER!"

The actress is just so-so and the writing for Hope is indeed terrible. She is supposed to be the super-saint and yet she is totally ok with Liam supposedly shooting his own father!? And to ditch her promise to support Liam&Steffy just in the wake of this revelation!? Bye b*tch, seriously!

Please spill! And what's up with the cane?

I’m not good at posting the actual links but she’s saying that he’s been charged with Spousal battery and has 3 counts of it and has dealings with illegal weapons and drugs....he posted a very unflattering video of himself singing in the car while high apparently and she keeps asking people to repost the link of the scene in “Queens of drama” where he gets on her about changing her last name...

shes also inviting everyone on twitter to her court hearing

Lawd, this sounds far more interesting than anything going on with this show.

Hope's way too judgmental and a hypocrite.  I'm like "Girl, let's talk about yo mama and yo daddy and how YOU were brought into this world for a minute."  I don't remember Kim Matula's Hope being this annoying, neither her portrayal or the writing.  Maybe I'm just mis-remembering things.

I actually watched Tuesday's episode - first time in 2 weeks. I don't understand the repetitive dialogue within an episode I've complained about this in past. This episode: Stuffy signed the annulment (multiple), Lame so down (multiple), thought he shot $Bill (2x), Lame living in that hotel alone (multiple), Stuffy slept with $B (2x), Lame doesn't want to stay on one of $B's properties (2x), Brooke's cabin (multiple), etc.

I actually could have just watched the scenes before the first commercial and got the gist of the entire episode. It was so disappointing because they could do so much more.

BTW when was this forest planted on Brooke's property? I don't ever remember a 'cabin' - is it an old set that's been brought back?

That's the way I see it, too.

But they keep bringing up all vile things Steffy has done to Liam and Hope and how virtuous Hope supposedly is.  The show clearly wants everyone on the Liam/Hope bandwagon so they can make Dollar Bill/Steffy happen.  But it feels like they're a day late and a dollar short.  I actually rooted for a Bill/Steffy pairing back when the show chickened out of it the first time around.  Unfortunately, they just don't work anymore.  Steffy's lost her spunk and Dollar Bill's nothing but chump change now.

It is so tiresome to see characters having the same conversations over and over again (like Hope and Steffy). I know that this phenomenon isn’t new for soaps, but it’s particularly suffocating in this day of smaller casts. There’s just less variety of interactions.

    • I don't think Chelsea has a true label just yet. She's just finding out she has an interest in women. I think the awkwardness is aligned with the character as we've seen. This is the fool who keeps filming her family when embarrassing things happen and live streaming it. I actually think it's refreshing she isn't just jumping into a relationship  and that they're playing the beats of her trying to figure out who she is.
    • Wow, do I agree with you. Chelsea is coming off as ridiculous. All she does is look for a woman to date while not caring about her business at all. That she's bi is great, but they're not writing her like she's bi. She seems to be lesbian. Yeah, I know -- "no labels." I just don't find the writing for her story to be anything other than awkward.   -- I hope we get some diagnosis finality with Bill's trip to the hospital. I don't want to see these trips to the ER every other day. -- Naomi is going to blame herself for Bill's health problems? GMAB. -- Ashley doesn't read as a real nurse in the slightest. -- Another day, another rinse and repeat conversation with Derek and Ashley. YAWN. -- Kat is making mistakes, but she's fun to watch and listen to, regardless. -- I still think the Joey/Vanessa/Doug gambling story sucks. I know Doug is deeply in debt, but I don't like him acting this meek and submissive.  -- I'm not sure what Joey's plan was from the beginning, or why he had to seduce Vanessa at all to get his way. I'm not sure what Vanessa ever saw in Joey -- why doesn't he give her the ick? -- I'm fine with a story where Doug and Vanessa take out Joey.  -- The fades to commercials were pretty bad today.
    •   Victoria's house (that she long ago lived in with Billy) burned down (I think Aunt Jordan set it ablaze?). Victoria briefly moved into the ranch after the fire, with Claire, Johnny and Katie, I think? Mariah and Tessa and baby Aria had been living in the tack house but they bought a house we've never seen and moved there. Victoria, Claire, and Cole then moved into the tack house as soon as Teriah left. I guess Victoria's children Johnny and Katie would live with Victoria at the tack house eventually? But Johnny and Katie went to boarding school during the school year. Not sure if we'll see Johnny and Katie for the summer vacation or where they would live.
    • Victoria’s previous house burned down.    And I know why characters frequent Crimson Lights 3 times a day for brownies, muffins and empty mugs:   THERE’S PCP IN EVERYTHING.
    • Today was a good episode, and the week for that matter. I think they've also done a better job with background music. The scenes in todays episode weren't as silent as they usually are in the background and it was noticeable. I think the show has found its groove well and I'm still invested.
    • Garneau was in the Liberal party and his riding was in Montreal. He was the first Canadian in outer space.
    • I agree. I really have enjoyed this story from the beginning. I feel like it needed the time for us to care about Doug. They've done a nice job of explaining his motives and making me care for him. I still feel like he's doomed and Vanessa will end up being a widow and now I'm invested in that *not* happening now that I've fallen for him. Friday was good but so was the entire week. I think they're doing such a nice job of keeping things moving. We got good movement with Bill's story this week, Chelsea is attempting to date, Andre and Dani are having tough conversations about their relationship, of course Anita reunited with Sharon. There is *so* much going on and I didn't even cover all of it.  I wish all of the soaps would take a page out of BTG book and start rotating their stories. I love that everybody is getting a chance to shine and they don't just sit on one lead story to the point you get sick of it.
