Today, we see that Tyrell, Jessica, and Chessie are gone, sent back to college. All we have left is a line or two from Samantha, spending her sad day (because her dad was arrested) going back and forth to Caffeine Fix.
Jesus.
-- I wasn't crazy about today's episode. Just a lot of roll-my-eyes moments, and some of the dialogue seemed off.
-- Samantha said "cray cray" twice, which hit its popularity peak a decade ago. "Unhinged" or even "delulu" would've made more sense to me. I don't see teens using dated slang except as a joke.
-- I still don't buy Leslie working SO hard and overtime to get back at the Duprees. To buy this, we have to believe NOTHING has happened in her favor since the show began. Anita, the Duprees, and the Articulettes have done so much for Leslie, but none of that matters? Is she that insane?
I think it's a case of not knowing what to do with Leslie.
-- Smitty and Martin come off as much too pious and sanctimonious and self-righteous. They're written as a gay couple with an aura, and I want them to be more authentic and real.
-- It's great that Orphey Gene's is OK with their business being taken over all the time by the Richardson political campaign.
-- More scenes with Dani getting goo-goo eyes every time Bill is mentioned. Gag me.
