I don't think it's a shot at him -- I think she's being playful. And he is being sincere in his statement. A few weeks back (on her timeline) he said something similar and she tweeted him back super-friendly. I don't think she meant anything damning towards him.

"Odd" doesn't even BEGIN to describe this, Carl.

I'm not surprised he gets to leave with a "golden parachute" for being such a repugnant bastard...but that doesn't mean I'm not outraged by it all.  I mean, he got to remain as CEO while the investigations were underway, which was bad enough.  But, even now, with the heat still turned on, he'll get to leave -- not in handcuffs, not in total disgrace, as it should be -- but with a $100 million payout?  And they're actually debating whether that number should be HIGHER?  Are these people [!@#$%^&*] kidding?

If you are truly remorseful for your inappropriate behaviors toward these women, Les, and for the effects they have had on their careers and lives, then, at the VERY least, you should opt to step down, with NO payouts.  Better yet, take the money and give it all away to charitable organization that benefit women's causes.  It's not like you NEED the cash anyway.

An 'internal investigation' which gives him a $100mn golden parachute and absolves all the other CBS execs of any knowledge or wrong-doing! "We had no clue this was going on blah blah."

This is institutionalised sexual harassment and assault, everybody. They all knew, they set up the system that way to benefit them and their coercing women into sexual favors. They covered for him, and for themselves. The assistants knew and covered, the junior execs knew and covered, the legal departments printing off NDA after NDA all knew too. This is exactly the same set-up as Harvey Weinstein -- and on a similar scale.

And you know she will, lol.

(Not that I'm empathizing w/ Julie, because I'm not.  Even if, IMO, it would serve him right to be hauled into divorce court.  But she hitched her wagon to his for a reason; and chances are, she, like Melania (and Ivana and Marla) and Camille Cosby and Georgina Chapman before her, knew what kind of man he was long before now.)

IKR?  And folks wanna burn their Nike merchandise because the company chose Colin to be its' spokesman?  Lord, where is thy light?

People be frothing in delight at seeing little Latino children in cages in the blazing Texas desert ("That'll teach em!") -- but boo-hooing about gun owners not allowed to put silencers on military-grade assault rifles.

Keep fighting the good fight, Colin! Freedom of THOUGHT is what it is all about!

    • Oh and everyone just accepts Leslie the scamming liar's DNA test? Why is no on pressing for Ted to get his own. Why are they not questioning that Leslie could have tested Eva against herself?
    • Well it's nice to hear...since I missed the first 30 minutes, but judging from the dialogue...it was a RC day. I figured as much.    Tbf Bill said he had SEVERAL things on the Duprees so that is not at all surprising. Ted and Martin were just the beginning.      Great minds...
    • She has SOME nerve. Why was she even back at Nicole's house? She new the hell she was about to unleash and should have packed up her things the day before. I doubt there was anything in that little desk worth going back for anyway
    • Surely you are exaggerating-there must have been several mentions of Abbott Communications.
    • I thought she started to deal with medical issues that ultimately caused her death in 1994? Not sure but I thought I had read that she battled illness for quite a few years. Perhaps it started when she decided to leave the show? She was so fantastic. I will say that she and David Forsyth worked so well together; it was the only reason I watched Mayer's five months of storylines.  Thanks for posting all these SFT episodes. Boy, the Nicholson/Mayer time was a mess of some positives but mostly negative. I wonder if Mayer was hired by Ellen Barrett (or if P&G tried to get Labine and Mayer although I doubt the budget would have allowed for both) then she was let go for some reason; and/or if Erwin had months left on his contract with P&G after EON was cancelled and they placed him there before he retired. Losing Sheri then Lisa Peluso was the death knell for this struggling show. Mayer's circus story was inane.  Casting Michelle Joyner big miss; she was awful as was (and always after) John Loprieno. I don't know how that guy stayed employed on soaps for so many years. The positives were Joe Lambie, Lee Godart.  Louann Gideon was lovely but completely miscast as Liza.  Mayer fired four scriptwriters, only keeping Nancy Williams who went on to great work at GL for a decade then Passions.
    • Bill could be privy to a number of Dupree secrets.

Not her getting sad over the Febreze!
    • Today when Anita and Vernon were talking about Bill, they referenced whatever mystery thing he covered up.  This time, with how they worded it, it seemed to be a cover-up about *them*.  So now I wonder if it was something else *in addition* to the Martin secret.
    • She really got to me today. She's doing a great job making Eva a character you just can't help but root for.
    • "Aristotle Dumas, Aristotle Dumas, Aristotle Dumas, Aristotle Dumas, Aristotle Dumas, Aristotle Dumas, Aristotle Dumas, Aristotle Dumas, Aristotle Dumas, Aristotle Dumas, Aristotle Dumas, Aristotle Dumas, Aristotle Dumas, Aristotle Dumas, Aristotle Dumas, Aristotle Dumas, Aristotle Dumas, Aristotle Dumas, Aristotle Dumas, Aristotle Dumas, Aristotle Dumas, Aristotle Dumas, Aristotle Dumas, Aristotle Dumas, Aristotle Dumas, Aristotle Dumas, Aristotle Dumas, Aristotle Dumas, Aristotle Dumas, Aristotle Dumas, Aristotle Dumas, Aristotle Dumas, Aristotle Dumas, Aristotle Dumas, Aristotle Dumas, Aristotle Dumas" There, I summed up today's episode.
