Am I missing something with this Charity Concert?  So...Victor set it up because he thought Nikki would like to play again, but she despises him for it.  And he is coming off like a d.ick.  Why are they writing him so confrontational if he's thinking he's doing something that Nikki wants?  And if she is dreading it so much and her MS is getting the best of her, why is she so damned determined to do it?  They are barely talking and she seems to loathe him.  If I disliked someone that much and they set me up to perform at a concert, I'd laugh in their face.  What gives?  It just makes no sense.  Y'all please fill me in if I've missed something.

They have definitely switched up the Dina story.  No doubt.  Her scenes with Ashley at the end of the show were nicely done.

Graham shirtless.  A nice way to end the week.  But why ruin it with a sweaty ass Gloria.  Yuck.

Newmans agreed to deal with Victor for show. So she has no choice but to do it to keep up appearances.

She ain't a fan , hence y she created Phick, and sid she wanted to create her own coupling with Nick

U gave it less than a year in Jan, ya got 6 more months LOL

Not sure why you think she's not a fan nor why you think her opinion will stop what Sony or CBS dictates? I know she created Phick and likes to brag about it. That story paid dividends for the show so she should be proud. But I can't say it translates to hating shick, of which I've never been a fan.

Line of the week by Nikki. "Gloria is ok, in small doses." lol

It's been awhile since Braeden and Bergman had a confrontation, I'm actually looking forward to it. Also really enjoying Nikki's story, and one thing I found that most regimes got right was the Victor/Nick like/dislike relationship.

Cane and Victoria scenes were also good. This storyline has brought life into Daniel Goddard, about time.

People keep wanting to find out about Graham, but I like the mystery. As the audience why don't we speculate anymore? 2 months is not a long time and Marla Adams has been nothing short of fabulous

I figured that this was an angle to revive Jack/Nikki.  They actually never bothered me as a couple but this setup is weak.  If anything, Nikki finding out that Victor had a hand in "killing" Adam should have been more that enough to start things up with Jack.  She leaves the Ranch to get some time alone, happens upon Jack and they reminisce about what could have been...it writes itself.  This Charity crap is just weak.

Bobby would have been great here, I agree!

The actor playing Graham looks damn good for 42.  Hell, he looks good for any age.  I vote for more shirtless Graham.  LOL.

For 42? lol - thats still plenty young

To the writers for having Victor call out Nick's hypocrisy regarding Adam: "You got that right!"

Hells yes, I loved when Victor put the overgrown frat boy on blast.

AC is amazing as Leslie.

And no, I don't agree with the theory that she shouldn't get a contract because the writing for her would not be good.

The show is very good these days with the B&S scandal and the Dina mystery bringing so many characters back to life.

Has anyone noticed how the directing and blocking have started to mirror classic Y&R?

Friday's show was strong from start to finish, and this entire week of Y&R was really good.

Forgot to tape. Gonna have to deal with the chitty CBS site now :(

AC on contract and AC on recurring is the same exact thing.

I agree. I can't imagine what she'd be doing other than playing resident lawyer. Not that I don't want her on contract as more permanent character cause I do. But to what purpose?

Let's reword the original poster's wish then: "I wish Leslie was a frontburner character on the show provided it were written by good writers". Geez...

Law has always been something Y&R has done well so teaming Leslie and Michael in same firm could work. And yes they can be opposing counsel - it's GC so the characters will gladly sign a same-firm waiver.

John Silvia's character lasted for years as resident lawyer with very little focus on his personal life. Why couldn't the Leslie character do the same? Pairing her with Neil again would be a bust. OC there's always Jack, Billy and Scott.... :)

Even with its flaws (Hilary's in/out involvement), hope they continue to extend the Juliet/Cane s/l because they are actual stakes involved for the characters - emotional and financial

Can't wait for Jill and, shockingly, Colin to get involved. The one thing missing is that Cane doesn't have a single friend (male or female) to lean-on, which exposes all the previous regimes and the lack of development beyond Lame. Meanwhile Lily has her whole family and a Jordan. It's too bad that the Abbotts have neglected Mamie and Olivia's family considering their so-called 'importance.' Ash/Lily would've been an interesting mentor type friendship.
