. Nicole and Maggie babbling about Daniel. The Kiriakis Mansion is a nice set but why must it always be so darkly lit? Deimos, Andre, Eduardo and Dario are dead weight and need to go. Well at least there was a little action at the end.

Maggie is brought out the basement so any conversation with Nicole can lead to a version of "I know exactly what you mean. I miss him too." *tears*

 

Nicole even dreams about him and he gives her his blessings.

What did it for me was how they tried to compare Nicole and Daniel's...what? Four months together to Mickey and Maggie's four decades?? I nearly lost my dinner. There is someone on that show that has it BAD for Shawn Christian, and I do NOT get it.

I'm at a loss too. Who likes him so damn much? This character gets more mentions than Bo and Will combined, over the last year. One of the worst characters in the history of this show and we still can't get rid of him. Ron better leave Daniel's ass dead. I will never buy Nicole and Daniel as this true love they want to push. Eric was always written that way. I just don't get what happened. You had Ericole suddenly heating back up and then boom, overnight Eric's out and Daniel is the love of her life. She dreams about him, and talks about him, and still mourns him .... LAWD

      Poor Philip. I appreciate how seriously his and Xander’s scenes were taken though. It felt like real drama and not like a big joke. You could actually feel Xander’s pain and anger. It adds another dynamic to the Kiriakis family storylines and I’m looking forward to the effects that this is going to have across the canvas. I can see them weaving Kate and Roman into this storyline as well. And it would be really nice if this somehow helped cause conflict for Stephanie/Alex too, especially because of what Alex did today. With any luck, Stephanie will be furious about it.  And I’m glad that Sarah has Maggie to confide in about her secret. I also liked seeing Steve and Shawn (and their matching jackets

      ) continue to be on the case. Kevin, revealing everything to them is another interesting turn in this storyline. Plus, it seems the writing has improved for Shawn as well.

      TBF, I don't think we've seen her interact enough with the "have-nots" to know if she is or isn't. It's possible, but I don't think you can say that from her interactions with Eva and Silkpress.

      But she can still be a priveliged elitist. She might have the same attitude to anyone from 'the wrong side of the tracks' whether they had an agenda or not. Nicole seems to be an outlier in her family.Her parents, kids and sister seem to think themselves above reproach.

      Damian's clothes have definitely been a specific look -kinda reads 70's pimp to me . I guess it's a trend?? but it seems more suited to Holden. JR is 51  and I guess Damian is supposed to be a little younger but it looks a little odd on him in my book. But at least they're trying. The men's clothing has been bland/generic for years-either suits or basic casual stuff interchangeable  b/w them.
