Horrifying. The violence continues.

Oops, I just ranted in the Politics Thread.  My energy level is down to the floor today, waking up to news of yet another tragic shooting and realizing that probably nothing will be done.

They are saying it's a coincidence, but he has said many disgusting things so I doubt it. I'm mostly surprised he deleted it. Sadly a lot of people feel the way he does and are very proud to say it.

Dan Patrick deleted the tweet, but of course nothing is ever gone on with the handy tool of screencaps. This is from an elected official of the second largest state.

Yeah but it's sad it takes a tragedy like this for people to band together. Oh and that Dan Patrick needs to STFU. God is about love not hate. I despise people who use God to spread hate

The shooter's father say that his son saw two guys kissing in Miami and that enraged him.

 

 

I dont buy this for one second and I believe a closer look into the the dad might not be a bad idea.

I agree. ISIS (and militant Islam in general) is known to target gay people. I'm surprised at how many people in my FB timeline are just realizing this.

Terror and Hate. This is so disgusting. 

 I just saw that they arrested someone with weapons at the LA gay pride parade.  Terrorism is always awful, but seeing a group targeted like this is truly disturbing. Be careful out there today and keep your eyes peeled if you are attending an event. You are not alone.
