Agreed!

JILL!:wub::wub::wub:

She was flawless in almost every scene and everything was on point! "Bordello for depressives" was perfect! I actually wish that Jill and Hillary would become frenemies or have a Stephanie Forrester-Sally Spectra type relationship because Hilary definitely needs a type of friend of sorts and going down the road of Stephanie and Sally would be perfect for Hilary and Jill. It would just take some time to due some intelligent writing!

Certainly the dialogue is definitely an allusion but something like like that needs to be so much stronger. Certainly Jill loathes Hilary for her past for being deviant between Cane and Lily and what not, but having a nice, strong, very attractive male figure right at the median age between Jill and Hilary who got involved with the two would definitely allude to Katherine and Jill. Hilary throwing herself to either Jack or Colin is just going to be asinine and embarrassing to watch. Hence I think the Sally-Stephanie route would work better with Jill always looking down on Hilary on the time while Hilary is pushing herself in Jill's business and even giving advice to Jill even if they share a man together both despise each other yet hold a grudging respect for each other and can come together for the holidays would be perfect.

I laughed when Michael said Constance Bingham was "300-400 years old."

Luca is a misogynist, arrogant ass. I like the actor, of course, but when I am on Amelia Heinle's side over a better actor, you know the character's being insufferable. Why the f uck is Victoria Newman being schooled by a man? Oh, yeah, Charles Pratt, Jr. I did enjoy that he looked scared when Adam confronted him.

Who knew Victor could still have a tender moment? It's so good to hear Nikki say that the Victor we're seeing is no longer the real Victor. Too bad they won't use this story to get Victor to realize what he's been doing, have him return to his previous self and get redemption.

GTFO with an exhumation and an autopsy getting done in less than a day (2 episodes, in fact). Not to mention -- how the hell did Dylan know Adam was in Victor's office so he could arrest him? Trash.

Speaking of trash, Michael getting his license back (off screen, of course) was completely unbelievable.  So stupid.

The way Jill talks about her own son is appalling. Last I checked 40 year old men don't need their mother's to sign off on who they shag. Poor Jill deserves better material. It's all the worse that Ashley and Jack are nearly as bad.

Huh?!! How is this even possible? A day after (if that) Lauren convinced Michael to work on it, it's done? That makes zero sense, especially considering Michael's incarceration and previously losing his license already. What the actual f uck? This should have been at least several weeks worth of story.

Victoria's new boyfriend is hot.  Luca and Summer are cute together.  The woman that plays Summer, name escapes me, seems to really like the actor who plays Luca whose name also escapes me or I never knew it.  She had a genuine smile on her face when they started making out on the couch today.  It was nice to see Jill today but if they don't write a decent part for her......

I believe the board was deciding - disbarment is a very long process - so Michael didn't lose his license - he's ability to practice law was before the state bar. I'm ok with this. Michael is far more effective as a lawyer on the show. He's been great with Victoria and Adam. Also, I'm guessing the story may have been cut short due to the personal issues Tracey is having off-screen.

Oh and nice name dropping of Chloe today and what we've been saying for months - that Natalie resembles her strongly.

Thank goodness they have put CG together with SC again. They work so well together. How much better are scenes with Nick, Faith, Mariah and Sharon with no Dullard or Burning Bush? Infinitely!

Thx.

I like her and Luca and I don't mind the actor that's playing Billy now either.  He's a petty good actor although not like any of the previous Billy's but I'm fine with that.  I see that tomorrow it's going to be a lot of Sharon's angsty bullcrap about Sully, who's the baby daddy.  Boring!  I wish they would put this ridiculous story line to rest already and give Sharon some more interesting closer to real life situations.

Today they tried YET AGAIN to make something happen for Kevin and a woman.  Not happening folks!  Zero chemistry as usual.

    • Kelly was a horribly-written character overall. Just think, two Emmy-winning actresses (including Cynthia Watros, Nina, GH, and Annie, GL) couldn't make it work. Pamela is campy, but so are Dani, Vanessa, Leslie, and Joey. And, I don't want to be too judgy because my love for camp changes depending on the show. OLTL, DAYS, and some eras of GH had me rolling with the camp. However, Passions was overkill and I hated it. And, here, I can take it or leave it. It's ok in small doses (note to RC). I see this show as more of a serious drama.
    • I think one of the reasons that pilot didn't get picked up was because Vicki L was associated more with being Thelma Harper and playing older then she was playing her own age.  It was a blessing it didn't get picked up, or we would have been deprived of the syndicated era of Mama's Family.   Also, worth noting a Pre Night Court Marsha Warfield and pre Perfect Strangers Rebecca Arthur in the cast.  All talented women, but stuck with a bad script. And the other pilot had a pre Fran Fine.. Fran Drescher as the best friend.  I think that pilot might have been picked up if Karen Valentine and Fran Drescher switched roles.
    • So, on rewatch....did Rick and Mindy never have sex?
    • Cady had a fairly posh accent or manner as Rosanna - the character was a 180 from Dixie when she went to ATWT, and it was a huge success initially. As someone mostly only familiar with the nagging, miserable or clueless Dixie of the mid-late '90s and early 2000s it was what convinced me Cady could act. I thought she was incredible in her first run. Later, in future stints, her hair and story and performances were all over the place but a lot of that was down to the show for me. She brought some of Rosanna back with her to Dixie in her ill-fated return and a lot of people didn't like it, which I understood but I did think the character needed some change. I think she's had a little bit of the same persona and arch performance in every role she's played since, including Jennifer Horton at DAYS or Kelly at Y&R, who later became a maniac and was easily the worst work I've ever seen Cady do. It has kind of infected her overall mannerisms, I'll allow that, but I do think she brought Dixie back together as herself while still evolving the character when she returned to AMC again in 2012-13. Nonetheless, for me the upshot is that this is a character where Cady's kookier recent performance style suits the role. But I can understand it grating for people.
    • Yeah, Loretta Swit's passing stings. My late dad LOVED the show (he died last November) and watched it religiously. In first run and repeats.  And I was literally born the day after the show's premiere, so I grew up with it! I know many loved later, softer Margaret, but I loved Early Hot Lips. In real life, I'm all for less misogyny, but to me, the early years of M*A*S*H were just funnier. May Loretta Swit rest in peace. Thanks for all the memories connected to my dad!

    • I agree that she isn't Dixie or Rosanna and shouldn't be acting like either. I just found it strange that she had a naive Southern character and a wealthy urbane character in the past and didn't experiment with accents before (unless I missed it, correct me if I'm wrong). She used to do improv characters on YouTube. She's probably doing something similar here.

    • And here I thought I'd never think about Lauren Tewes again after her brief appearance in Twin Peaks Season 3.
    • I may be the single person who does not mind Transatlantic Campy Pamela. I think it perfectly suits this sort of Absolutely Fabulous-esque supporting character she's playing much more than it did when Cady tried weird and often broad stuff at AMC* or Y&R, or later stints at ATWT. She's not Dixie and she's not trying to be. I will freely admit some of the other chances she took at other shows often came off stiff, hammy or downright mortifying (Kelly Andrews, come on down). (* - and I say that as one of the few who was somewhat into Cady trying to make Dixie more cosmopolitan in the Rosanna Cabot mold in mid-2000s AMC, just to liven the character up again)
    • There’s absolutely nothing exciting happening storyline wise but I’m always happy to see the vets on my screen so I’ll take what I can get. It’s also just nice to see them all dressed up in the same room, it always gives classic Y&R vibes. The best part? No Phyllis.
