So many stories she has crafted. I would say her best storyline work was the bianca lesbian storyline on amc. The scenes she wrote between Lucci and Reigal were fabulous. From likable rough around the edges street kid to Leo obsessed beyotch. Jeanine P badly killed off Gillian for no reason. Jeanine P also did the Libidozone mess. Everyone in town was horny yet they acted so tame. Jeanine P's ATWT was a snooze fest. Emily became a call girl. Alison a porn star hooked on crystal meth. Members RavenWhitney Posted March 1, 2016 Members Share Posted March 1, 2016 Yes, Jean was headwriter of AW when it was cancelled, ATWT when it was cancelled; she was fired from YR after 12 months as head writer. She was fired from AMC (and Agnes didn't protest); she was fired from OLTL as headwriter and remember she wasn't sole headwriter, she wasn't even part of a duo! ABC hired two other writers (Sloane and Laiman and they wrote by committee). I met Jean at NYU during a soap writing course, before she was working on writing staffs; she clearly loved soaps but she's not a great headwriter. She probably was a mature, stabilizing force on Ron's GH and OLTL teams. GH is messy right now; not inspired and parts are good but the whole is not quite working... Interesting .... I'm about a big a fan of hers as I am Higley. How does this person keep getting the gig? Does no one else truly not want it? Laura was the tie to Jim but she skips town.
