sigh....was hoping Cook would stay...what a waste for him to return just to switch him out with the other Shawn again....

He'll be half naked most of the time, so it's a good deal.

He's a familiar face, and a pretty one at that. If we can't have Jason Cook long-term, I'm glad we were able to get Shawn. No. 2 back, versus a new actor. After all, JPL, although a familiar daytime face, is a new DAYS face as Phillip.

I never cared for Cook during his original run or at GH….but I liked his return this time…

I wonder why Jason Cook didnt want long term return?

 

 

As fo why Cook is only on for a few months? I asked this question on Twitter a while ago and was told he has a few projects he's currently working on. Days knew that and still wanted him to have as many original faces for 50 as possible.  

That was nice of them to include him even though he couldn't commit to full term contract.

I like both Shawns.   Maybe Jason Cook has a side profession nobody knows about somewhere. 

Cook does. Doesn't he do non-profit work or something of the like? I seem to remember him discussing something like that in one of his last SOD articles when he left GH as well as other writing projects.

Eaux. Jason Cook isn't the best actor but I've always felt he had such great natural chemistry with his onscreen family that kind of made up for it. Beemer.... ehhhh

Jason just did a a movie called DARK AWAKENING. I think he said somewhere he likes to focus on directing and writing.

I've enjoyed having Cook back as Shawn. I got tired of him and he's not the absolute greatest actor but as stated above he has great chemistry with his on-screen family.

 

Beemer and Madison had more chemistry than Cook and Madison did (which was ZERO), and Madison and Beemer were Shawn and Belle at the same time so it's sort of fitting that Beemer takes over again. I don't mind Beemer. He works for me, the last thing we needed was yet another new face.

 

LMAO I keep forgetting about JPL too. When's he supposed to pop up? And what happened between him and Beemer on Dirty Soap? I think Farah Fath brought out JPL's ... not so nice side because she was such an uber-something I don't want to say. When I used to attend super soap weekends, the last year (2009) with Fath and JPL together, you could see a difference in JPL's entire demeanor and Fath was definitely a bitch. I cringe everytime I see someone want Mimi back. No. Never. Fath needs to stay away. Maybe if I didn't know how she was in RL ...
