Members Angela Posted November 25, 2015 Members Share Posted November 25, 2015 Dude, although part of me would want him back because I care about the character of Hope and she's loved him forever and ever and ever (and he completes her), they better have his a$$ stay dead. The only way I would accept any big return from the dead is if they pulled a Dallas, maybe. (Dallas, right?) All, I could think today is this story would have been a lot better if it wasn't handled like it was the drive-thru at a Fast Food restaurant. I do like beats and moments but it's just way too fast. Thumbs up to Hope getting up, getting her make-up on to cover possibly the worst 24 hours a soap character had ever had AND getting her a side-kick to handle bizness. She was literally raped like 2 or 3 times in one night by the same person, her brother I almost said this was Passions bad but didnt that soap have an entire night take place over the course of most of the summer? I fee like during the big summer Vendetta storyline there was one night that that took place over the entire month of June. Yes Fancy for the win for worst 24 hours ever. I had to start changing the channel during her scenes because the constant rapes were so horrifying. Whoever said previously that Hope should be kept on suicide watch is probably understating! After all that, she should have gone totally catatonic by now. So heartwrenching to see all those scenes leading up to Bo's death. I've also started watching the old Bo/Hope clips from 1983 - such chemistry even back then! I loved "Doc" BITD, but now I see her as just another character on this show who has been damaged by years of WTF storytelling and needs to be phased out. Nope. Not that I needed to see the kidnapping on this Thanksgiving episode. Caroline gave a great speech and it's so awesome to see most of the Brady's together. Theresa was missing (I'm gonna just assume she's celebrating with Anne), and they didn't mention Will. Really could have done without the crowd at the Kiriakis place. I liked the moment they gave Victor. I also could have done without Eve, Justin, Gabi, Rafe and Eduardo on too but they weren't bad. More huffing and puffing from the supercop about his daddy issues. Little Ari was so cute with Eduardo and Rafe. Nice that Paul spent the holiday with John and Marlena. I LOL'd at Brady's face over Marlena cooking turkey. But yay! Belle and Claire are back! Claire's already ten times better and more natural than nuCiara. I had to LMAO as Claire met her family and then asked Chase "who are you related to" LOL. Oh Salem, where nearly everyone is related somehow. Marlena was so happy to see her daughter. It was cute. Good episode today for Thanksgiving. I liked that Ciara introduced him as her step-brother. I really dont want their relationship to be erased Victor was beyond rude but I was LMAO at his lines. BYOH and saying he could multitask in terms of grieving and being an ass Hope was in such a depressed funk and all it took was Bo dying to get her out of it. I could be down for Claire and Chase - putting the two best acting teens together would be a good idea. I like Hope in revenge mode - I hope she goes all Kill Bill on this search for Bo's kidnapper. Now that Shawn and Belle are divorcing, this makes me wish JKJ would've returned. He and Martha Madison were so good together. LOL That's a perfect description.
