Please forgive the following post, blame it on the vodka with beer chaser, if you have to.

I have watched these characters for 30+ years, grown to know them as my own family...that being said, I howled when Luke woke up between his "Angel" and the "Conwoman". It went steadily downhill from there. When Holly denied knowing Bill, I shrieked. I lost what little respect for RC I had left, UNTIL I read that he tweeted that the script was changed without his knowledge. My respect for for ES quickly decreased when I saw she and Geary "forgot" that Bill and Holly had a relationship.

It isn't like these two have been out there making major acting achievements over the past 20 years. You know what's coming up, why not do a little research, which I'm sure is at their disposal, on characters that they have played for DECADES, on and off.

Geary has said Eckert was one of his favorite characters to play, but he conviently forgets the character's history...

In my world, this is a big FU to those in charge, that have to deal with the fallout.

If I had MILLIONS of devoted people watching what I do, for years on end, I'd take a little extra time, do some freaking homework, and stay loyal to the work that came before.

Forgive me, SON family.

I half paid attention and ff the rest. So what happened in todays episode that I missed?

As for ES…she is only brought back for ratings and buzz stunts just like Genie….this story is a major fail already.

There fixed...

It's unprofessional to make these changes, but then, Ron and Frank let Tony repeatedly ad-lib drinking scenes after Luke was supposed to be on the wagon. To me that's far worse than not remembering Bill/Holly. And it's also a reflection of what happens with a producer who only cares about saving pennies, and what happens with zero rehearsal time.

What a huge freakin' mess. I'm embarassed for all involved. But especially Frank and Ron. Who is running the asylum? Tony? This entire Ethan storyline has been a complete FU to all the Luke & Laura, Robert & Holly and Luke & Robert fans from the beginning. And it keeps growing. Instead of ignoring or rewriting the Guza mistake, they just continue to make it worse. I don't blame Emma. IMO, she took one for the team. Frank and Ron are responsible and it's clear they don't have a clue what's going on. Someone needs to be fired.

Exactly, and Emma s/b embarrassed. Even if what she says is true (and it isn't), why explain it? It should be over and done with. But it makes no sense because if Emma and Geary don't remember the past, why change the script? And Geary not remembering makes sense because he does not give a [!@#$%^&*], but Emma didn't remember? I'd buy swamp land first.

I'm also confused as to why Ron felt the need to explain this when you look at the daily schlock they put out. Clown wastes entirely too much energy!

    • Well before the craziness starts, I just wanted to say that off of this week's promo...I love that show so far stays playing all the beats. And just when you think they forgot about something or someone mentions a loose end here...it circles back around. I love the attention to those plot details. So far.
    • Sadly, it won't.  If anything, it'll convince the donors and others even further that they were right to push Biden out of the election (never mind that Kamala would've been on standby had he been unable to fulfill his duties as president).
    • Interesting..this is more then likely why I found Reva 2.0 boring and annoying..she had everything she wanted...now what else is there but some outside evil person or clones? It also might have been one of the reasons McTavish had Quint have an affair..it made Nola loose her Prince. But unfortunately they didn't do anything with it but made Nola a sad sack whiner. I wish they had her write a book..of course, some tell all which would make everyone pissed at her, especially Van.   Long was desperate to sideline Van into the Lewis hole. They had Van working at Spaulding again in 85 around the time Alan came back. I would love to have had Henry and Van tired of Alex dragging some nobody blond guy and trying to install him as a Spaulding, and fight to get their part of the company back. They could have used Ross to help them and of course, Billy would be p*ssed off that Van wasn't sitting at home and her old sharpness comes out.
    • I hope this shuts down all the book publicity [clickbait gossip] regarding Biden's mental acuity.
    • I’ve always wondered - why did Wayne decide to leave DAYS in 1984? He and Deidre were at the peak of their success, and their on-screen relationship was so iconic. Three years together just feels too short. Was there a specific reason for his departure at that point?
    • re: Damian's wardrobe: Bringing this over from the May spoiler thread, now that it's already aired:   Lily and Damian, Monday May 5 U.S. (Friday May 2 CDN)  they first encounter one another at CL, and then go to the lounge for drinks.

    • March 27, 2025 - GH Sherilyn Wolter (Celia Quartermaine) visited Emma Samms (Holly Sutton Scorpio).  They are friends in real life.
    • Poor Philip. I appreciate how seriously his and Xander’s scenes were taken though. It felt like real drama and not like a big joke. You could actually feel Xander’s pain and anger. It adds another dynamic to the Kiriakis family storylines and I’m looking forward to the effects that this is going to have across the canvas. I can see them weaving Kate and Roman into this storyline as well. And it would be really nice if this somehow helped cause conflict for Stephanie/Alex too, especially because of what Alex did today. With any luck, Stephanie will be furious about it.  And I’m glad that Sarah has Maggie to confide in about her secret. I also liked seeing Steve and Shawn (and their matching jackets

) continue to be on the case. Kevin, revealing everything to them is another interesting turn in this storyline. Plus, it seems the writing has improved for Shawn as well.
