Makes me wonder if it's on contract, permanent, and if there's a chance she won't be screwed over this time.

This was it? Her last return was disastrous I thought. I'm cringing thinking how Ron will write her. I at least look forward to Lulu/Laura scenes!

Apparently. I suspected as much after she and TG presented at the Emmys together, but this makes it official.

And yes, I want Lulu and Laura scenes too. More if they were with JMB, but still.

HELL YES! Welcome home, Genie. I hope this is a long-term return and they keep Luke and Laura romantically apart and find other things to do with Genie. I want to see that storyline with Lucy come to fruition!

She'll have a story where we find out Laura is acting weird…but we don't know why…..we find out she had a cousin who was her twin…but died in the 90s offscreen…..later we find out Laura isn't Laura but her alter ego Bora…who teams up with Helena to destroy all of Port Charles…..later we find out Bora killed her parents…...

Especially this. I don't want Laura coming back wandering around PC looking homely and begging Queen Antonia to take her back. I'd rather her be a strong businesswoman with her head on correctly. Plus, the return of Deception could serve as a great catalyst of many of the characters [i.e. Lucy, Carly, Lulu, & Maxie].

This is Frank and Ron we are talking about. I wouldn't expect too much out of her return.

Well Genie left in 2013 cause GH or ABC wouldnt do a long term contract and wanted her recurring

Rumor has it on another non-soap board that Tony Geary's going to retire from full-time acting shortly and Genie may be back to let Luke and Laura ride into the sunset... for now, anyway.

Just happy to have another familiar face back at GH.
