Valentini had several strong younger actresses on OLTL. I don't know why he seems incapable of signing one to a contract on GH.

I also think Teschner is not the casting genius he is made out to be. He has his duds during Riche, JFP, and Valentini. He's no Betty Rea.

Ive always found MT overhyped when it comes to casting. GH has had very few stars go on to do anything big outside of soaps in the past decade compared to a few of the canceled soaps.

I watched the show in five minutes today. GH has become like the worst of the Guza era now. Ric, Liz, Jason, Sam...everything old is new again. This crap was old in 2004.

The show took this terrible turn into Guzaland. For two years RC was writing this OTT fest which had everything from Vampires to spies in masks to Luke doing coke. Now it is about the worst elements of the Guza era--Liz, Sam, Ric, Jason, Alexis, Sonny, Carly, NIk...maybe I am misremembering but it was this exact crew that reigned supreme while the audience ran for their lives.

None of Rc's stuff has been good. All he did was switch from one set of crap to the next.

I'm not sure where you guys are getting Brian is so awful. He does a really good job, especially with good direction. He can only get better with time and good material.
