WTF? More stupid sh-t happening offscreen. Now we are getting flashbacks to the bullsh-t? Not interested

Why did they leave the baby with Roxy?

The Michael, Sonny and Carly stuff is beyond repetitive. They say the same sh-t every day

Luke bit the ear off like 1-2 hours ago. How the hell is it already in the newspaper for today?

Ugh. I don't even know where to start or what to say. What a mess. What trash.

Luke biting off Scotty's ear was absolutely ridiculous trash. This show has sunk to yet another new low. Only small bright spot was Bobbie was on and she and Scotty still being there for each other was nice.

Roxy. Oy. Ilene Kristen, I love you, I do ... anyway, Maura West remains fabulous and she's making me tolerate Michael Easton.

Heh at the courtroom crap. I loved the judge setting Ric straight on all of the conflict of interest in the room. LOL. So true though. I mean, I saw Michael getting custody coming, especially after the judge switch, but I'm sort of here for Michael vs. Sonny. I'm not the biggest fan of Michael going after custody of Avery but this storyline is the least of my problems at the moment.

Speaking of problems ... Franco Baldwin? Please. I'm so over Ron and his pets. Today was nothing but filling their eppy guarantees. I don't get his fascination with these two. They could have worked under a much better writer. Howarth as Franco was and still and will remain a mistake. He should have played someone else.

And even more annoying is the Spinelli, Nathan and Maxie crapola of a triangle. I'm so NOT here for this. At all. Spinelli looks desperate and pathetic. I do sort of like seeing Maxie squirm but again, just not here for this crap.

Oy. This show.

Ten minutes in, and this Hannibal Luke-terd crap, combo-ed with Nina, Franco and random mental patient...Give me Stremmmmffff!!!!

Michael has no business raising a hamster much less a child. Sonny' s been a POS for years, but I just can't take the thought of Michael raising his "sister" (I put that in quotes as he has made it perfectly clear Sonny is "no Longer" his father. He says his relationship with his brother hasn't changed, but isn't that perjury since he kicked Morgan out of the Brownstone and wants nothing to do with him?

Speaking of the Brownstone, the Webber,Scorpio home set hasn't been on since, guess that's another dropped story!

) Anyways... I did really feel disgusted by Eurovision this year and I doubt I'll watch this horrific musical torture in the future. My ears and my psyche will not survive.
    • Regarding the mobster storyline: The scripts, the cardroom set, and the writing for Joey -- are all terrible. They seem to be writing a realistic depiction of compulsive gambling as an addiction, showing that it pops into his head all the time -- it has become hardwired into his brain.  The APA (American Psychological Association) describes compulsive gambling as having a similar effect on the physical brain as drug and alcohol addiction. https://www.apa.org/monitor/2023/07/how-gambling-affects-the-brain I think Jason Graham (Doug) is doing an adequate job playing Doug as a compulsive gambler, with the thoughts/urges coming into his head all the time, and being unable to stop. However, the cardroom set is awful and the mobster storyline is a bad cliché, so it's all so uninteresting to watch. I think Mr. Graham is doing the best he can with the crap they gave him to work with. If anyone reading or watching has a gambling issue, check out Gamblers Anonymous.  They have many types of meetings -- in-person, online, video, audio, etc.  They also have resources for friends/family of compulsive gamblers.
    • Today was painful (especially for Philip).  I still feel for Xander. He was clear he was happy sharing and working with Philip. It's just one more betrayal from someone he loved. Going back to last year when he found out about Victor and Fiona, then Alex and Philip. He forgave and tried. Then Philip went behind his back again. He's been walking on the edge for weeks. This is a man who was abused, neglected and has never had any therapy for his horrific past. He has zero coping skills because he's never learned them. I hate this but I refuse to hate Xander
    • Lucy Coe wasn't even this big of a whore.
    • Kate being the one that Alex called was a nice surprise. The cut to her looking all sheek made me instantly get excited for her to get back into business mode. And the Jack reference from when she first came to town (on-screen) was inserted naturally which is always welcome. When they were talking about how much sex sells, I almost got the impression they were sizing each other up in a May/December type of way.  All the Philip stuff was gruesome. I'm happy the show isn't shying away from Xander's ugliness. I love them both, and it just makes me intrigued for the aftermath for it all to be taken seriously. I cheered when Philip spat out at that Sarah knew the truth. I'm on tenterhooks for their eventual confrontation. I was surprised that Kate wasn't a little vicious towards Sarah for Xander's obvious behavior, but maybe that's still to come. How wonderfully entangled is it that both Philip and Shawn/Steve stopped each other from getting the drug. Both equally at fault. Who/what will ultimately save Bo? And with everything going on, is a Salem where it's looking likely that EJ is about to own the hospital imminent?
