I imagine it's because she and Lucas were getting too close or because she knew nothing of Jordan's past secret and that made her useless to Kate? Lol, this show and rewriting history. Members jo.frank88 Posted June 30, 2014 Members Share Posted June 30, 2014 A few thoughts on the last week that was.. 1) JJ/Eve - I want JJ to get some cougar action!!! This is setting up to be GREAT between Jenn/Eve - with such great respect and throwback to the show's history! 2) I'm glad the Ben/Jordan story is advancing.. Kate in the Ozarks - so glad to see SOMETHING happening! 3) I still love T/Abby interaction! 4) Such a good job by the writers in the buildup to the revelation to who Eve is... so many "close calls" of JJ an Jenn both nearly finding out who she is.. and great timing- I'm so glad it didn't take a year for them to reveal who she is, but stretching it out for a week or so was nicely played. 5) As always, Kate/Sami scheming is pure GOLD.. this better continue until Sami's departure. 6) Lauren Koslow's Stefano impression/accent was SPOT on.. she gets the acting award for the week! 7) How much more enjoyable is Maggie as an AA sponsor trying to encourage Brady and support him, rather than prop her egg-baby son? ... Let me count the ways. 8) It's almost comical how much Pop-up John seriously does just POP UP in scenes - out of nowhere! I think the director is directing him that way on purpose. In some of his scenes this week John was sounding like he was whispering. I love Drake, but he needs to speak up. 9) I really am enjoying Ben/Abby and their slow build up. RW is much better in this role than JG was. I want the slow build-up to continue! Lastly, I know I've petitioned for this before, but I will continue... I know people have varying opinions on this.. but this show NEEDS Martha Madison! Belle (and IMO Shawn too) are NEEDED on canvas. As the two MOST legacy children on the show - it is insane that they have been off screen since 2008. The reason I say Martha needs to come back is first of all - she is recognizable in the role and we know she has chemistry with the DHs as their daughter, she fits the much needed young 30s age bracket that we NEED on this show. There is SO much story potential for her since she knows/is related to practically everyone on canvas.. and just as importantly, Martha has PROVEN that she is truly LOYAL to Days (even at the Daytime Emmys when asked who she was supporting Martha said something like " I always support my home shows" and mentioned Days!) In a time when all these newbie actors BOLT to the exit door ASAP when their 4 year contract is up, Martha is an actress who would be loyal to the show and they could really help create Martha's Belle as the legendary character she really is! And then she was nearly in tears when Anne was like "um no." Theresa sounds crazy! It's so weird going from watching the annoying kiddie quad on GH to watching the kids on Days like Chase and Ciara. What a huge difference. Days' kids are sooo much better. LOL at this Giselle chick being so thirsty for Roman. I can't. After all these months we finally see Ortiz! I think my problem with Jordan and Rafe (other than them being boring as hell) is that they just have the same scene over and over again. "Open up to me, Jordan!" "Rafe, I can't!" "Then I can't do this." The next day... "Rafe, you just need to trust me." "Okay, let's go have sex and make up." Repeat x500. Ditto with Jordan/Ben. It's the same thing over and over and over. Thank god SOMETHING finally seems to be happening with this story. Ugh, Daniel is back and pissing me off already. Why is he still breathing? Belle/Shawn/Philip/Chloe (Mimi wasn't present) had their 5 year high school reunion in 2007, making them all 23 then. 7 years later, they are turning/have turned 30 years old this year. Especially with James and Ali leaving who is left in the 30s age bracket? Brady... and that's it. Instead of having Dan on every day we need this next young vibrant generation on our screens. Even from a ratings standpoint only this makes sense!! Who are all those viewers who watched the Last Blast Days and loved KS/JC?
