I hoping she's coming in for Cane then.

She'd be better in that role than Daniel Goddard.

They should have gotten Sherry Stringfield to play Phyliss and Gina should have been Victoria.

I thoght about SS and assumed they wouldn't be able to get her but I guess if they got CW, it was more than a distant possibility.

It look like she shouldn't be Summer mother either.

There's an idea, I didn't think of. She could also become an irritant to Chelsea and Adam by being linked romantically to Adam.

Is Gina old enough for the role?

on first glance no but I think people should give her a shot before judging. I remember thinking the same thing about JL as Liza on AMC but loved her

Technically no, but on soaps you have to suspend disbelief when it comes to the relative ages of parents and children, especially with so much turbo-SORASing going on.

When this issue comes up, I always think of Grant Aleksander and Ron Raines on Guiding Light. Raines wasn't the best Alan by any means but he and GA had a great father/son rapport and it worked even though RR was only 7 years older than GA in real life. If the actors are good they can sell it. If they aren't, it's laughable.

Daniel is already white, and the moment Graz takes a bath, you'll see it too!

He looks so clean here...lol

RR looked so much older than Grant on the show. It must have been the beard....hmmmm...

Sherry Stringfield would have owned this part. Gina is a good actress but she is not only too young in real life, she still looks youngish on camera.

Yup but lets see what Gina can do with this role.

Great choice but sometimes she can be too intense or perhaps it was just the way Kelly was written during her last splash on One Life to Live.

Hope she has good chemistry with Joshua Morrow and Sharon Case.

I'm content with this recast as I like GT. I would've preferred her as Victoria like the rest, and would've preferred Robin Christopher, Jamie Lunar, or Megan Ward as Redzilla, but it's fine. I'm still holding out hope that Jill grows tired of Amelie Heinle and brings in Sarah Brown to play Vicki! :P

But DG does his best work away from CK.

Hell, Mo, I do my best work away from CK and I don't even know the valley girl, lol.
