I'm finding her perkiness an.... adjustment, shall we say.

Not on board this Hillary-Neil thing one bit but I have to give credit to the two actors and directing team who gave them a relatively full-blooded love scene. In recent times, Y&R has shied away from AA characters being shown to have fulsome love lives (not counting Neil with Babymama or Neil-Leslie because those were really not much to write home about).

Neil has always been shown with an active love life.

Y&R should have written Kelly off & brought Cady on as a new character.

"Babymama"? Who's "Babymama"? Are you talking about Sofia?

IMO, Cady McClain, as terrific an actress as she might be, does not belong on this show. Her sensibilities are more suited to an East Coast show. Again, though, that's my opinion.

I'm also getting really tired of these discussions between Ben and Kelly about "what he did". No one talks like that, and if he's not a serial killer, it's overkill. Whatever "he did" that no one can know about is going to be lame, not shocking.

On the other hand, I'm really enjoying Sharon's amnesia and how they are still playing out all the beats of Summer's paternity secret. I think this is masterful. Along the lines of how Phillip Spalding's paternity played out for years on GL.

Did Sharon hurt Phyllis? Cause her coma? Did Phyllis know about Summer's true paternity? I used to hate Sharon. She's the main reason I quit watching YR years ago. But I am rooting for her even though I know she's going to get busted and it's going to be awful.

Regardless of what a certain column writer thinks...yes, sharon and phyllis were arguing in a stairwell, but Big red didn't have to wear those heels. So I would say no Sharon did not hurt her directly. Now cause the coma...well...

And yes, Phyllis found out what Sharon did back when Sharon admit to Cassie's grave I think that she switch the test. Phyllis was on her way to a benefit to reveal it to Nick and Jack when they were in the stairwell.

I doubt robin Christopher as new Phyllis. Remember Phyllis was recast before and successful. Judy blye Wilson has the toughest casting with new Adam and Phyllis. Give cady a chance she just started. I remember same thing when she started as Rosanna and it turned into a three year gig. Cady is a great actress give her time to WOW us.

That's what happens you put "shock value" over "logic." Not!Cassie didn't need to be Mariah, but the writers just couldn't resist the notion, I guess.

I'm going to attempt to answer some of this and hope others chime in:

I guess we're supposed to suspend all believe, reason and logic and go with the idea that Tyler, even in attending his own engagement party at the ranch (I guess that was his first time) never saw one picture of Cassie, which I'd imagine would be right beside the other grandkids' photos.

Kelly? good question. She and Stitch have a connection yet to be figured out, I mean uncovered. I guess they knew each other previous to their residene in GC. Whether they were lovers who had an affair that went rancid or somehow siblings whose relationship went rancid, is still open for debate right now. Kelly seems to know a secret about Stitch that she claims would ruin his chances with Victoria or anyone else, if they found out. Supposedly, he was responsible for a man's death. Some people think that Stitch may have hit and accidentally killed Kelly's 7 year old son but she did say he killed a man, not boy. But who knows?

Kelly also had grief sex with Billy after Delia was hit and killed.

Courtney is the blonde who is Noah's girlfriend and allegedly she's on the other side of the law (i.e. not a hooker or a porn star) as a cop. She started out in the narcotics unit but supposedly changed to a regular cop (uniformed officer) on the 'beat' when she became close to Noah and he expressed concern about the dangers of her being undercover.

For now, Summer's an Abbott. It appears that Sharon may have altered the letter that was addressed to Nick with the results of the DNA test her re-took due to the first one's being corrupted and not producing a clear result. I wouldn't be surprised though, if there was a twist there that ended up exonerating Sharon since we saw a flashback from Sharon's muddled mind. We never actually saw her tamper with the letter in real time. If she conjured up dead Cassie, even before the impostor showed up, it wouldn't surprise me if TPTB end up having her imagine the entire thing.

But for now, urbody and their Mama believes Summer's Jack kid, well maybe except Phyls but she's in a coma so...

Victor's concerned that Sharon has a secret, more like hopes she has one (although she does about her role in the DNA results) because he wants to tear her relationship with Nick asunder, which is why he hired faux Cassie to haunt Sharon. Faux Cassie/Mariah informed Victor that Sharon was keeping a secret but faux Cassie couldn't find out what it was, only that Sharon told her that Phyllis knows what it is. Sharon was confiding in faux Cassie thinking she was her ghost daughter but soon found out that this 'Cassie' was different, meaner somehow.

I really believe that the original idea incorporated CK being Mariah but perhaps CK wouldn't go for it, so once they decided they wanted CG to stick around (even she said her role was supposed to be temporary and she was shocked when they asked her to stay on) they thought they could make the Mariah thing work regardless (didn't want to wasted a story?).

Well, either CK wouldn't go for playing a dual role (possibly b/c her on-screen partner would be, um, you know, [whisper]Black[/whisper]), or someone at CBS or Sony reasoned she wasn't capable enough and that this would be one way to keep CG, most likely a fan favorite, on the show.
