Bravo! Both Hunter and Ashlyn did an amazing job today. I love how effectively the flashbacks were used

Actually Phoebe died months after she learned about Taylor and Rick being together. They had actually broken up and Taylor was back to wanting Ridge by this point. Phoebe and Rick were fighting bc Phoebe just learned that Rick was trying to seduce Steffy to get back at Ridge for how his engagement to Taylor ended. Phoebe was disgusted and went in on him

Thanks! That's right. I remember now. She was hitting him and stepped on his foot, which was on the gas. Then Rick went to get help and Phoebe died in Ridge's arms. Pretty sad. I wish they hadn't killed her off, but i guess they thought the character was redundant.

I don't get why the writers are TRYING to make us dislike Ridge now. Suddenly, he is turned into a primo jerk (the Oliver thing, $Bill, etc.). I just don't get this story angle. It's not like RJ is some "fragile" or sick child. I get that they want to create on-screen conflict for the two male characters, but this is not a beat to explore. I hope this get dropped soon.

Perhaps - although in my eyes Brill didn't need selling. IMO - the pair meshed well shockingly quickly. Don't get me wrong, I think TK has been a great addition to the cast - I'm just trying to figure out what the writers are thinking.

Nothing can make Brooke look good to me right now. She can be smug or she can be a home wrecking slut. When they make her a smug home wrecking slut, I take umbrage.

I've never really cared for Heather Tom, but I've liked Katie more than Brooke for some time now. This story would have been much better (and believable) if Steffy were playing Brooke's part.

Really liked today's episode!

Cannot believe I'm staying this, but I'm loving brooke and bill! I am team brooke for the first time IN YEARS. Ridge and Katie are boring and gross!

Loved the Taylor and throne scenes. I really hope Aly really still hates Taylor and is just faking it for throne. I'm all here for Taylor getting preggers and Aly pushing her down the stairs!

Oliver and Aly <3 Throne and Taylor <3 Brooke and Bill <3 No Hope or Wyatt <3

Typical Ridge! Now he's protesting wanting Brooke to marry Bill, as if he has a choice. He's trying to use RJ as an excuse to justify this but this is typical Ridge. He NEVER wants Brooke to be happy away from him. Every time she seemingly moves on and closes the door on him with a new man, he is there trying to break it up. Even if he doesn't necessarily want her, he doesn't want any other man to have her either. We've seen this when she fell for Eric, Thorne, Nick and now Bill. He's been in love in committed relationships with other women, primarily Taylor, but that still would not stop him from getting involved in Brooke's love life. He has a sick need of having her salivate over him, which I figure is to stroke his big ego. When she's not doing that, he goes into panic mode and will find a way to ruin her relationships, bc ultimately he does not want her to be happy away from him. His reaction to Bill and Katie telling him that Brooke will likely eventually marry Bill, hit a nerve with him and he's back to his usual tricks.

I don't buy that RJ is 100% behind him being so irrational and hypocritical about this. I do believe there is a level of wanting Brooke to fail at love yet again so that he can be the only man in her eyes even if that means rejecting and hurting her yet again.

    • Yeah, not sure why Jack and Jen didn’t rush to Marlena - or even Carrie - to offer their condolences. A few flashbacks would've been a nice touch too. Instead, we got a whole episode of them talking about Chad and Abby? Come on. On the bright side, I loved Anna’s scenes with Marlena and Carrie - sweet and heartfelt, felt like a real 80s throwback.
    • Martin and Smitty were designed to avoid the stereotype of gay men sleeping around (which to an extent is true). If you recall Martin had a line about them not being open when Chelsea came to talk to him. The producers are walking a very fine line right now and it might not be popular to say but I can understand it. Establishing enough footing to ward off complaints will let them showcase gay characters more openly later.
    • The week was decent. They have started to rotate their stories and finally got a rhythm going. I disagree about them allowing every character to have a moment to shine though. Nicole really hasn't been given anything to do. I completely agree with all this. I adore Doug and hope he makes it through.

    • There was the one appearance in '96, but otherwise, that's correct as far as I know.

Question for the B&B group: I see @rsclassicfanforever has uploaded multiple seasons from Videoland  (in the folders that are to be put away). They are huge folders and difficult to download so I started breaking them down into months but I realized they are by season so for example, Season 4 spans from March 1990 to March 1991. Now I'm wondering where to actually place them, since we have the Full Episodes section divided by year, not seasons. And most of these seasons we already have in full, so these are duplicates. Not sure if it's necessary to keep the older versions. I could just make another new section for Seasons, so the main folders would be "Behind the Scenes and Interviews," "Clips," "Full Episodes," "Full Seasons," "Music CDs," and "photo archive Marquise" but I'm not sure that really makes sense. Also wondering since we have almost every full episode now if "Clips" can be deleted in its entirety, as it's nearly 300GB.
    • CBS moving Murder, She Wrote from Sunday to Thursday was straight up sabotage. Les Moonves knew exactly what he was doing.
    • I sure hope you’re right. The lack of sets is maddening!
