After the overuse of doppelgangers under MAB, I thought we were done with this "twist" for awhile. However, it's possible this could work if they follow the Lily/Rose path on ATWT. The other factor is that a number of viewers would love to see CG back in the Y&R fold - the same couldn't be said for the other double characters.

My guess is Altman/Passanante decided to change this story, as Griffith was adamant about Cassie being a ghost or a mental thing with Sharon.

How will this redeem her after all she has done to Summer? And if TEVN exposes her by gas lighting her, good for him.

The same way it redeemed Billy from all his crap and bad choices. General audience blamed victor for everything.

Also, I think sharon might just think she changed it and didn't.

Sharon should have no problem with gas lighting. She's just lucky she's not pregnant and won't have a child to toss in the fire place. When Ashley spoke against Adam, Sharon jumped in her face and commented on Ashley's past mental problems. Do as you will with that skank, Victor!

And I've been grinding, looking for greener pastures in the job market-the primary reason I haven't posted much lately, but I'm slowly back to posting frequently.

I've been thinking she wasn't a ghost for quite a few weeks now. And, that Victor was gaslighting Sharon. Even without spoilers. This was pretty predictable.

As much as I don't like Sharon. I still think Victor just keeps becoming more and more of a jackass. Hee haw, hee haw!

As a rule, I have no problem with new headwriters making changes to their stories if it works better. "Cassie" as a doppelganger hired by Victor definitely gives more story to tell. However, as much as I hate Victor, I am not persuaded that this is something that he would do. If he did not know Cassie maybe, but he loved and adored her. Yet, this is scheme is not so out of character that I could not see him rationalizing it to "save" Nick from Sharon.

I'm just wondering if Faux Cassie is someone we already know who had plastic surgery to look like Cassie.

What Victor is doin to Sharon is no different then what she and Jack did to Glo with that faux John imo!

I am convinced Faux Cassie is Cassie's sister by Frank or whatever her bio daddy's name. I think she might survive this to become a leading lady. Lol

I hope not. The writers barely know what to do with Noah. It won't be much different if a Cassie twin enters Nick and Sharon's lives.

Me too...because CG is aas cute as a button. Even EB in his scenes with her softens totally up. He has hired this random chick, he should be threatening her not to get out of line

but in the Monday episode, he is all soft and smiling. Awe EB, your sentimentality is showing
