There is a school of thought that keeping the name of victims of sexual aggression private or hidden propagates the idea that the victim has something to be ashamed of. I'm not neither endorsing nor rejecting that premise just putting it out there.

As for Sony/CBS nipping it in the bud, they can't. In a world of Twitter and message boards and TMZ they can't control how this kind of thing gets out. All they can do is try to make sure that their people handle it according to whatever crisis communications plan they have in place. If they can prove that one of their employees leaked her name then they can deal with it. It probably would've been good if they had asked actors not to Tweet or comment but that's water under the bridge now.

KSJ can be as pissed as he wants. There's no reason for Muhney to say anything. His career is over and anything he says can open CBS/Sony and maybe him personally up to a lawsuit.

The ONLY thing that Muhney can say now to make things easier would be for him to go to rehab for sex, drugs, alcohol, gambling, whatever and ask everyone to respect his privacy and that of his former co-workers. The fact that his ass isn't on the way to Promises Malibu right now tells me that whoever is advising him is doing a lousy job. Maybe then his stans would shift their attention to supporting him through his "treatment" in some constructive way instead of spewing caps lock conspiracy vomit all over the internet.

To take away from placing all the blame directly onto MM's doorstep. He caused all this mess and it's clear that fact is too much for some folks to comprehend. All of this lashing out in "defense" towards anyone and everyone who isn't MM.

It just HAS to be somebody else's fault.

First it was HKK, then it was JFP, then it was Sony/CBS, then it was McDaniel, then it was Braeden.

Will it be Jerry's fault now?

Whats the big deal about this guy? How the heck did he get so popular? I thought the guy he replaced was much better (Chris Engen). The character of Adam became so despicable and unlikeable under MM so its amazing how the character has become so popular. MM isnt even attractive IMO, so i cant see his looks being what people are going crazy over

I don't think he *is* that popular. I think this is just a result of the fact that there are only four soaps left and audience is made up disproportionately of hardcore fans. This isn't that different than the OLTL/GH/PP craziness. The majority of people don't care but the ones who do act like cats in a pillowcase.

Now might be the time to do that. The back and forth bickering with the crazy is not doing anyone any good at this point. Even crazy stans are customers of the product Sony/CBS is trying to sell.

Personally, if I were in charge I would ask that only positive tweets of support to Hunter go out and that the actors not engage with fans on the matter at all going forward. Interesting that Sony is letting them duke it out. They must have their reasons. *shrugs*.

Nothing he does will make any difference at this point. If he tells his fans to leave HHK alone he is acknowledging the "rumor" that he did something to her. That puts him in the role of her savior which only highlights his role as her alleged victimizer. Then his fans will turn around and attack her harder because he's being so "nice." He already tweeted that "be kind to everyone" pablum. It just added fuel to the fire. What needs to happen is that everyone connected with the show needs to STFU but it doesn't look like that has occurred to anyone.

Agreed. I'm mystified as to why they haven't done something internally to shut this noise down.

My point on the HHK thing is why mention her. Why not say MM sexually harassed a co-worker.

I feel that unless the victim themself wants their name known it should stay private

As far as KSJ Im surprised he is calling for MM to speak out. I would assume KSJ would chalk up the fact that MM hasnt spoken up to a legal issue. He may not be able to

    • I think all the suits are fit too tight, except for Jon Lindstrom's. DC lawyers/doctors are not all LA fashion elites. Yes, maybe Tomas would have a more modern cut to his suit, but an established guy like Bill wouldn't go around looking like that lonely button on his jacket was ready to explode constantly.
    • I do think there's room for optimism, especially with Amazon making enough new episodes to last until December. There's still time for the various players to get their ducks in a row. Guess we'll know soon enough!
    • I do agree it's better to just have people pop back into town. I never understood why Roger needed a mask on an island, when neither Fletcher or Alex would've known who he was. And the vine...sigh. Couldn't he have just been sent crashing through a window or something?
    • When the announcement was first made, I did wonder if other plans were in the works. I guess we can always keep hoping, especially as the show has a small core cast.
    • @chrismlAbout Lisa, agree to disagree. Actually at the time she was the only thing my partner & I disagreed about. Naturally she was Team Vicky while I was steadfast as Team Lisa.  About John & twin paternity, I think that like the 3 pillows was a transitory idea someone had that no one else agreed with. More of the attempt to accommodate Philece. About MJ, co-sign, 100% agree, if there were more degrees I would claim them. About Wally & Felicia, always a fan. Mitch? Eh, take or leave. Although I do agree that WGE is a really striking man. Who have I left out? I don't know so that's all I got.

    • Dallas peaked early, IMO. Maybe not a fair statement as I’m still making my way through the first half of its run, but I think it’s hard to argue to point that S3 into S4 was its high point. Back to Knots. Wrapping up “And Never Brought to Mind.” Greg’s introduction kinda took me by surprise. I low-key dreaded his arrival bc I know he very quickly gets to the center of the show, but even though they wasted no time connecting him with Mac, Abby, Gary, and Karen, it still feels like a gradual intro. The juxtaposition of the ending of the Chip story with the heating up Abby’s plotting is quite symbolic of the changes the show was going through. I absolutely cannot imagine Kenny and Ginger having any part in any of this. Yall, the Gary/Val piano theme that they pull out from time to time is my FAVORITE. I find myself humming it constantly.
    • Bloodshed is inevitable now. It’s another reason I’m glad Black people aren’t getting involved in these protests. As awful as this is, I keep reminding myself that 54 percent of Latino men voted for Trump. These people were put in harm’s way by members of their own communities and sometimes even members of their own families. Too many people decided to touch the stove.
    • Maybe I'm still in denial, but nothing about Neighbours' ongoing social media output gives the vibe of a show that's ending. In today's 'Roundup' video, Alan Fletcher referenced that production finishes in five weeks, but in all the show's posts the cast are as jovial and lighthearted as ever. Remarkably so for people who are about to lose their jobs.    Perhaps they're just putting a brave face on things, and I know they approached the previous axing with a positive attitude. Maybe putting an upbeat face on things is a collective way of showing potential backers that there's still life in the show? Or is it possible that they already know the show has been saved, and we'll get an announcement next month when filming wraps and the show 'rests'?   Does any of that make sense?!
    • A very good week for male eye candy on GH. New Michael is beautiful, Curtis's arms looked great in that polo shirt, Cody looks even more handsome with his new haircut AND we got Marco in swim shorts rocking his lovely bod and chest fur.
