Such sweet, Christian thoughts for this time of year.

I have no great affection for Muhney or Adam, but the comments on this thread are unbelievable. Maybe the overpraise and crying on other boards is ridiculous, but this MM execution on this board is no better.

Taking such joy in a man losing his job? Trashing the guy like he's garbage? Unbelievable.

Of course, I expect to be flamed for posting this, but after all these pages of Muhney vitriol, I had to say something. I'm disgusted by it.

The guy is an !@#$%^&*]. It's not like they fired Beth Maitland and people are laughing. This is the same guy who recently was retweeting tweets saying his co-stars are c-u-n-t's for not mentioning him in tweeting praising the great acting during Delia's death. The man brought this on himself. I bet he is an ABSOLUTE TERROR on set.

People always talk mess about Eric Braeden, but I don't believe the hype. Yes he had his issues with Peter Bergman, but everyone else speaks highly of him. He also is so different from Victor Newman in real life. I think he's a good example of someone who gets a bad rep. Michael Muhney EARNED his rep and the tweets are there to prove it.

No job is PROMISED or GUARANTEED. People say he brought it on himself. Calling folks Cunts which he did not. What if U got fired for what you posted here or your FB or twitter? Would U say guess i had it coming? . He has a family with Children to support. This hate on MM just how bad soap fans can be and why we and this industry are not respected after 7 decades

LMAO

I think most people (including myself) are just really, really, really happy they won't have to deal with that insipid character played horribly by MM on their screens. In reality, actors get dropped/fired by ALL shows (primetime or daytime) ALL the time. It's a profession were you might be in heavy use one episode and gone forever the next. It's how it works. Does it suck for him that he's out of a job? Sure. But one cannot empathize with such an assh.le and your holier than thou shtick is useless.

    • Very sorry to hear of her passing. Aside from a few clips I've only ever "known" her through scripts and photos, but she along with the rest of the original cast helped make a show that changed daytime forever. We're still talking about one of her major stories on here to this very day.
    • That's a lovely photo. RIP.

    • I'll miss him too (still can't believe those were actual publicity photos - Joe Breen must have had a coronary), but he won't be gone forever.  Rauch did well at making people feel they were important (as long as they were willing to play along). That's probably why Erika Slezak loved him (he also gave her better story than he gave Zimmer). I think Kim has a certain amount of self-awareness but also needed to feel like she was the big star and desperately needed by the show. Wheeler was clearly incapable of expressing that.
    • Nicole has 2 assistants but no one else gets any staff (that we see). Are Dani and Hayley fixing meals and clearing blocked drains? I think they need to establish that they have some assistance. Vernon and Anita need to have a visible housekeeper. Give the Duprees some help!
    • . Her husband posted the following message: "The love of my life. The brightness in my life which is now so dimmer. In April I lost you and I miss you so much and I hope you are at peace. Lost Pam due to things beyond what was going on in her life. The original Peggy Brooks on The Young and the Restless and many more shows and commercials and then the creator of Chocolate Fortunes. So beautiful and a hell of a sense of humor. Great laugh, Great smile and Great compassion. You are my sidekick forever. Will miss you and all your sharp barbs. The angels are with you my beautiful angel. Fly safe and be happy. Much love and kisses forever."

    • I grew up in a neighborhood behind the gates and it really wasn't uncommon to have your house unlocked. In my neighborhood there was an armed gate before you enter the neighborhood and you have security patrolling 24/7. One thing that was common when I was in high school were for the kids whose parents were real estate agents to use their houses to throw house parties. It was easy because they were always unlocked.

    • I posted this a few weeks ago but it's worth popping up again as Grant does get asked about return rumors, that Paul Rauch had tried to get the show revived for years but P&G just would not sell it.

    • If those two crazy (and I do mean crazy!) kids can't make it, where's the hope for the rest of us?!

    •   Sonia was on the director rotation at DAYS. On BTG, Sonia had been credited as a producer.  May 23 was her first episode directing BTG.
