I also want to add that I resent how they've inserted Julian into where AJ should be (with the Carly/Franco "triangle" ... in which Carly doesn't exist as a character and when she's with Sonny all she does is yell. LW deserves better than window dressing, which is what Carly has become, IMO). I guess she'll have some story soon. Probably being kidnapped or in danger so Franco can rescue her.

The main problem for me with this is Julian is just kind of a bore. de Vry was the same way on AMC before Cambias went nuts. I don't want Julian to go nuts, but on a show that is so inert, smoldering and taking your shirt off has its limits.

OMG I LOVED Ryan's Hope! NEVER thought I would see characters from my show again. Still shocked at this turn of events!

Watching Monday now...uh yeah Ilene is just playing Roxy sober. Never saw her Delia character. I guess I'll just chalk it up to rustiness?

Delia was one of the most unique characters ever on a soap. Roxy, from the little I saw of her (thank God) was common filth who wasn't funny, IMHO!

I don't recall a deep husky voice on Ryan's Hope. Besides, with Roxy, I think that was more Ilene's interpretation of the character than anything.

Well keeping that definitely made Delia just appear to be Roxy under an assumed name.

She was speaking in her natural voice on GH. Her voice has gotten deeper with age, you can see that even as Ryan's Hope went on.

Yeah, that was her real voice.

Is she a heavy smoker?

Probably, but she definitely sounds the same in recent interviews. Ugh all these winky lines about her asking about her name, etc.

I asked on Twitter if Ron bothered to talk to Claire Labine and the usual suspects told me why would Ron talk to her?

Did ABC own Ryan's Hope? I know initially Clarie's own company (with the much forgotten Paul AVila her co-writer/creator)? I have a feeling they mayhave bought it when Labine was replaced, but... I guess it doesn't matter if they used Loving elements which ABC never owned.

I am kinda shocked how Michael Fairman's page have hundreds of messages praising this and saying they hope Carlivati conmtinues to show he honours soaps by bringing on more other soap characters. Some even have suggested he get a 30 minute spin off all made of past soap faves.

And yes, why should any of this surprise me...
