Linda, are you the designated spokesperson for AMC viewers? I ask because in post after post you're always telling us what the fans want and like. Well, trust me, you don't speak for me and you don't speak for the fans.

Darnell's dramatic scenes are spectacular. Just watch his scenes at Ellie's gravesite and he can pull of the tears too. He is very dramatic in the new show. You are looking too hard for the hilarious when it is not there at all. He is playing to the audience on the planet earth BTW.

Darnell and MEK are brilliant in that they can go both ways with dramatics and humor when necessary.

The writing of Jesse has been just terrible since 2008 and the failure of the writers to have the talent and experience to write him as he was strong and diligent in the 80's. The writers need to wake up and clean up with their wrongful writing of the character of Jesse.

I am sure that viewers are getting tired of the same ol' same ol' from the ABC run and now no better with the PP on line run too.

Kids do tease over that, though, still.

I know, that isn't my problem. It's just his continued insistance that Miranda is a lesbian. I wasn't saying kids don't still tease people with gay parents. But I grew up friends with a girl who had two moms and everyone who bullied her always cracked jokes about her mom or made stupid drawings of her mom. He hasn't even brought up Bianca since like the second week of shows. he's just on some baseless streak about Miranda being a lesbian and it makes it hard for me to even buy him as a bully. He's just coming off as someone obsessed with lesbianism like that lead prison guard from Orange is the New Black.

Also, I saw a vidoe comment from a fan on the More episode lamenting that Angie was a strong woman of god and that her relationship is with Jesse is unlike any other on soaps and if the show goes further with Angie David it means Angie and Jesse are doomed wich also then means that all relationships are doomed...Brought back warm memories, though the video commenter did seem sane at least.

I'm annoyed. This show is doing everything possible not to give David Canary any lines. It's like they don't have faith in his acting. Yes, maybe he's a bit slower now compared to a few years ago, but his return was unsatisfying.

I think recasting Adam would never work. The way that he is barely interacting with his own kids though to run off on some vague Chandler business makes me wonder if Adam is secretly ill and is rushing to try to rebuild the company to leave as a legacy to his children, not realizing that all they really want is a real relationship with him.

The short visits feel very out of character, as I said before. I don't want Adam to be killed off, but he needs to either be there or not be there or they need to take the story in a whole new direction. It feels very strange to have all of these stories with his fiance and his son and his daughter, and he should be right in the middle of it, but he's not.

I love DC. I mean truly adore him on my screen as Adam and Stuart. I literally squealed when it was revealed that Stuart was alive, and danced a little when I saw Adam in the More previews for this week.

I love, love, love the chemistry and history between Bradam.

But how these scenes played with Adam - an off-camera confrontation between JR and, a blink and you missed it, reunion scene with Brooke, where JB delivered vast majority of the dialogue, and then practically lifted Adam off the couch to give DC his cue really makes me wonder if DC is capable of meaty scenes anymore (and I'm not trying to start any rumors about his health) or just doesn't want to do anymore heavy lifting, he is, after all, turning 75 this month.

I don't begrudge DC wanting to remain mostly retired, but either way, and I hate to say it, the show needs to make some decisions on how to deal with him being off camera so much, other than Chandler Enterprises being in such dire straits.

Options:

A) Kill off the character shortly after his marriage to Brooke (I think the Bradam fans deserves a grand wedding that is 25 years in the making), which puts her fully in charge of all things Chandler. Perhaps, Adam keels over after witnessing a close moment between Dimitri and Brooke, causing conflict for this potential couple.

cool.png Create a Vicky/Marley scenario from Another World. Keep DC on a Stuart Chandler, and recast another veteran actor to play Adam Chandler.

C) Create a tale of two Becky's from Roseanne. Recast another actor to play Adam Chandler, however, whenever DC wants to pop in, he may do so. This option has a twinge of the real Greenlee but for DC I would be willing to accept him in the role whenever he desires, and the recast actor would know the score before accepting the role.

Thoughts?

I'd be wiling to accept a recast. GH did it well with Edward Q. The show would have to look long and hard, because it won't be easy.

I am open to a recast as well and maybe have Adam comeback for anniversaries. They would need to make sure to iron out any complications on using past clips so they can use David's clips for anniversaries because I got very tired of them not showing Mary Fickett's Ruth in the later years (or they would try to hide her face or something during a flashback).

They would need to Test the water, however, because some fans may not like the idea. Maybe promote it as a "Temporary Recast" then if the recast responds well they keep him. It would be better if the recast can do twins well because the will come when David wouldn't be able to play Stuart.

Hmm, I wonder what happened to Brooke's homeless shelter. Surely, it could've used the money raised from the silent auction.

It looks like Leslie Miller from MORE is shooting her standups at her house. Anyone notice the photos on the end table of her and Rich Frank?

Toward the end of 2006, they seemed to be merging the homeless shelter with the Miranda Center.

She admits to it when in one segment on the OLTL side, they show a clip of her dog Riley.
