June 14, 201312 yr Member What they need to do is give Jill her Jill...LOL. Go full circle with her. The time is now to create story. Bring on a man and have her help him financially over the next 2-3 years. Make him a great success then merge Chancellor with his company...then have him fall in love with someone else. (Chloe perhaps?) They actually could have told this story well with Jill and Yolanda. Had Jill fall for Tucker and invest in him emotionally with his relationship with Katherine. Had them totally in love having fought so hard to be together. Then had Yolanda show up and given her a back story with Tucker that wasn't seedy. Had them have been in love and torn apart by circumstance. Had Tucker leave Jill for Yolanda...And there is the foundation right there. Actually they can still tell it with those two characters. Exactly. Bring Jill (Jess Walton) full circle and I think Chloe is just the character to do it with.
June 14, 201312 yr Member I... Just... like.. i have no words. Yep. Exactly. Bring Jill (Jess Walton) full circle and I think Chloe is just the character to do it with. I've always thought it would be best if that happened but I'm not sold on Chloe. We need a new character, fresh and ready to take over. That probably wouldn't happen, so Chloe would have to do lol
June 18, 201312 yr Author Member I think we're being trolled................... Why trolled? I see Brenda as uber-camp which sums up 1980s Kay. I'm not saying the idea doesn't need work but YR needs so be spiced up. This is certainly better than Cassie 2.0 Also, there is no reason for a soap character to ever die or even age out for that matter.

They really should've taken the suggestion and kept Alice Horton alive on DAYS played by Farah Fath. There's no reason why we can't believe Alice would still be alive at 160 years old. If we can believe in possession and Marlena turning into a panther, we can believe Alice will hit the 200 mark.

Agreed...on a certain level soap land is magical. When Cooper fell ill last year, we were supposed to view ML as Kay and 25 years ago we had to accept Jess Walton as Jill. I love the idea of a soap land where people don't die like Brad Bell did will Sally Spectra. I see Dickson as the apex of camp and nothing has been more campy then the Kay and Jill relationship which has bordered on maternal with strong lesbian overtones. I do agree with the poster who suggested Jill more or less fill the Kay void with a sort of life being a tale twice told storyline.
