But that was the fifties. Not that it matters, it's all semantics anyway. I'm just a little surprised that OWN would commit to so many episodes after airing only five. All I can say is it must be dirt cheap to produce.

I was just making the point that it's not the first time ever that a series has had an episode order into the 30s. OWN was struggling last year, so it's not really that surprising that they'd order more episodes of a show that has brought them the best ratings they've had so far.

They shot the first 16 episodes in six weeks. Probably gonna do the same schedue this fall

Yeah he bragged about House of Payne had the most episodes of any black sitcom in tv history. I was like yeah dumbass because TBS ordered 100 episodes every season.
