I love this bitch!

She basically spoiled her whole story, of course, but I would have grabbed her and kissed her if I was there when she said that. That's right, you tell them boo boo! That's part of the reason why the Nikki story annoys me, even though it's played greatly by MTS.

 at the stuff about the newbies and the CBS Building!

What the hell has she got? Lyme disease?

Honestly, if someone isn't poisoning her or something, I don't see why you need two "these old bitches need a doctor" stories at the same time.

Exactly! We didn't even really need the first one.

Didn't they do this story already several years ago when they did the Marge/Katherine story. Right before the big story, she had forgotten stuff and then after she had an accident and lived in Murphy's trailer, they found out she had lyme disease and put her on a special diet. Unless it's a relapse.

Sadly is sounds like they are just reusing stories for the old girl just to keep her front and center.

Haha, I love ornery Jeannie! And I love that her interviews inspire a lot of expletives in the posts responding to her interviews.laugh.png

I pretty much figured it wouldn't be Alzheimer's. I was thinking it was a delayed side effect of the concussion or some type of nutritional imbalance. Even Y&R is not that foolish to go so utterly depressing in mood.

LMAO @ that comment about the building falling apart.

I remember tuning into Y&R stream for the first time in a couple of years on CBS.com site. My computer (brand spanking new at the time) has full HD and it drew into sharp relief that dirt and grime at the previous Newman Ranch.

I had this theory that the previous Newman Ranch was so darn filthy, rather than clean it, they decided to burn the sh*t down and start over.

I know the current Ranch is mediocre but they probably had to get rid of the last one under deadline before the Dept. of Health intervened.tongue.png

Jeanne is so much more entertaining than Katherine.

Anyone noticed how often she references porn in her interviews? She must really like porn.

I love her. It's so obvious that the new writing team aren't big on Jill or Katherine, which isn't to say they hate them. They say the right things, but I just don't see them being truly inspired to write interesting things for them. Jill's return amounted to absolutely nothing. She didn't do anything.

I love Jeanne Cooper, but she needs a filter on her mouth, at least when it comes to other actors on the show.

Her remarks about the younger set -- being prepared, learning lines, doing porn -- were rude, mean, disrespectful and classless. I don't see a lot of hair models on Y&R, so I don't know what the hell she's talking about.

For someone who occasionally looks like she's struggling for her lines, she has a lot of nerve. I don't think a national interview is the place to rip on the people you work with.

She never struggles for her lines, that's her pattern of speech, Kay has always had a ton of pregnant pauses. If it's the truth, then those young ones need to straighten up. She didn't say that about the young actors 20 and 30 years ago, because she didn't NEED TO.

So you're close enough to JC to know why she says what she says?

She dumped on the young actors, she dumped on the CBS building, she gave away major plot points. Cooper needs to include some of those pregnant pauses in her real life. This verbal crapping isn't cute or funny or clever.
