I'm getting a little less excited for any returns after seeing how some of the others have ended up. I keep forgetting Scotty, Laura, Kevin, etc. are even back.

ITA! Never thought I'd ever wish this heifer back, but Kunt Falconeri is just that bad that I'd roll out the red carpet for Vanessa, and GH as a whole, is unrecognizable!

I just wonder if we're going to get scenes where Brenda and Sonny talk about how he's realized his true soulmate is Kate/Connie.

That would be the ultimate joke! Not a Sonny/Brenda fan in the least, but Sonny's true love is that wacko? It's ridiculous, which means it will totally happen!

I don't know what to think about these returns. They feel so random. They both must have a year contract since they are reportedly are staying for more than a few weeks with is even stranger. Ingo's contract must be tied to his DWTS appearance. I wondered how his agent swung that one. Oh well, have fun!

Vanessa Marcil (Brenda) will be returning to the show before it hits the big 5-0, reports ew.com.

...And that's the sound of me coming right on back along with Queen B. To say that I am thrilled to receive this early birthday present is an understatement.

However, Ron has the herculean task of undoing the fuckery that showkiller Guza forced on her (a.k.a.: the main reason why I left this bitch of a show behind a few years ago) and if he drops the ball, the wrath that I will unleash onto him will make my hatred of Turdly feel like a day at the beach in comparison. How can he accomplish this?

1. Provide substantial scenes between my favorite soap BFFs, Brenda & Robin, instead of the scant few that the last pair of hacks couldn't be bothered to write or produce. Since I'm pretty sure that Robin will return during that time, I want to see actual female bonding in a healthy friendship that has spanned decades.
2. Reunite Queen B with the Quartermaines - especially now that AJ is back and better than ever. Like Robin, the previous hacks barely showed her with her PC family and it was a crying shame. My girl, AJ, and Nedley (since he, too, needs to return longer than a day or two) need to get back together so that Brenda has a genuine support system this time around.
3. Keep that scum-dwelling Slagbeast away from Queen B, as she isn't even fit to breathe the same air as my girl. Point. Blank. Period.
4. Undo the random paternity of little Alec and make him Jax's. Not that I'm a huge fan of that vapid Ken Doll, but the way that he was massacred in order to prop Sonny and his Slagbeast was fvcking vile and he is long overdue to be a full-time father in his child's life - something that Queen B has no problem with, since she's always had respect for him as a friend and former love.
5. Have Sonny crawl on broken glass to prove that he is worthy of Queen B's love, honor, and respect, as he has a long way to go (even with his being mercifully back-burnered and made increasingly irrelevant over the past year) before he can resume his place as the love of her life. As huge as an S&B stan as I am, I will accept nothing less than that.

How unfortunate...

Hopefully her face has settled this go around.

Both of these returns sound like they're very short term. I hated most of VMG's 2010-2011 return but once the Balkan story was officially over, towards the end, I was very sad to see her go. I doubt Robin will be officially back by then though.
