We've seen the highs and lows of Cory Matthews and his lifelong sweetheart Topanga. But what about their daughter?

TVLine reports that the Disney Channel is currently circling the prospect of a Boy Meets World sequel series called Girl Meets World. Not only that, but insiders say the cable network is looking to cast original series stars Ben Savage (Cory) and Danielle Fishel (Topanga); their two characters were married before the popular sitcom ended in 2000. The new series would focus their pre-teen daughter.

Since the end of Boy's seventh and final season, Savage has made numerous guest appearances on other TV shows like Chuck, Bones and Without a Trace. Meanwhile, Fishel's post-Boy work includes National Lampoon's Dorm Daze and hosting duties on Style Network's The Dish.

I hope they don't mess it up. I still watch BMW reruns everyday.

I think it has potential.

I'd rather see it on ABC not Disney but it doesn't sound bad.

Cory and Topanga got a child before me??

I love watching BMW with the grandkids, the oldest is 18, so I'm excited about it.

I'm not going to lie, I'd totally be up for this. The only thing is, is this going to be the same tone and vibe as the original or will it be another Disney sitcom?

If done right, this will be genius!!

If they can't get back William Daniels for Mr. Feeney, the new principal should be Minkus (very smart guy who worked his way up very quickly).

If this happens, I hope William Daniels can make some appearances.

After his second episode, the producers realize the show had got it all wrong back in '93, and they replace him with Stephen Nichols.

I still need the original quartet to be here and Feeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeny!

I always figured Cory left Topanga in under a year to go back to Shawn and that they'd gotten married by now.

I'd rather have a BMW tv-movie about what happened after the show ended and yeah I'd rather this be on ABC or ABC Family than Disney.

It sounds promising. I'd rather it be ABC as well or ABC Family. Disney would completely ignore Cory and Topanga. I'd rather see a balance between them and their daughter/daughter's insufferable Disney-esque friends.
