I write them off because their stuff is a retread of the same tired crap they pulled on OLTL. And I don't see how they are better, there is even less character development than before. All threee of the last regimes sucked equally in their own different ways.

my point was look at all Sami has done and still remains popular, Liz will survive and knowing this show she'll be made to pay and pay and pay. Like she did during the Niz stuff

Just stop! Liz is nothing like those two hoes.

no she's not, but she's being written like Sharon in some aspects. As in she's the punching bag of the show(since AJ's not around to be that)

Sami is DAYS' lead heroine, for better or worse. Liz is a plot point supporting character mostly tied to soon departing Jason. Our saviors may have her taking hostages by Christmas.

LMAO you're probably right.

Labine had little to do with the Carly story, other than being involved in the original idea.

I guess if the only reason to care about the Bobbie/Carly story was to see if people thought Carly was a whore, that could be seen as entertaining. I didn't watch it for that reason.

The only reason that I found it entertaining was in anticipation of seeing the whole town stone that trick. Once it was clear that this show intended to keep her around past being revealed as Bobbie's trick baby, that was a sign that things were headed downhill.

Frankly, I wished that Labine had seen the idea through, as I'm absolutely sure that it wouldn't result in the 15+ years of fuckery that followed.

Where did I say she was Sami Brady, how about reading what I actually posted and not making stuff up as you go along.

Actually I don't, I'm not a fan of them at all, but their GH is better than anything from Guza or Wolf. At least I'm open minded, I don't write off everything they do just because their names are "Carlivati and Valentini"

There you go, having the nerve to challenge SON groupthink yet again. I'm surprised no one has accused you of soiling the sanctity of Guza's true vision of General Hospital.

Well, I know that "fast food mentality" horseshit doesn't apply to me, considering I was one of the precious few who watched every single episode of Garin Wolf's "boring" six months, while others continuously came in here to remind us that they weren't watching because it was boring. So, I know that it wasn't the pace of the plots that kept me. It was the character development. I mean, dear God! I actually was cheering Carly on by the time New Year's Eve came along, which, to me, was miraculous as far as getting me to actually empathize with a character I hate played by an actress I despise. I said that to say prolonging a "story" without any character development is nothing but stalling. I don't find it entertaining at all because there's nothing riveting about listening to, say, Todd and Johnny having the same conversation switched babies and dead granddaughters, or watching Komedy Konnie running around with people being conveniently dumb instead of watching Kate deal with being confronted with the reality that her son is alive. We've see Konnie in action for months. Enough! This is character regression, not development. We watched the character allegedly do the work and get herself sane, only to be told "Gotcha! All that was for nothing! Back to square one! Don't worry! You're gonna LOVE watching Connie ruin Kate's life and watch Kate put back the pieces again, since you loved it so much four months ago!"

Just wanted to co-sign this

I'm not sure why, as I don't think there are any Guza fans at SON.

No one is praising Guza. All three of them have been crap.

Apparently if we don't like Carlivati, we love Guza.

There was a time Elizabeth was a lead character though, no? Granted this picture is at least four years old, but still.
